Fireball or Bolt. I usually use Fireball with Mace, because both have Feuerbachs illusions. Bolt with Flail.
I still remember a moment years ago when other two bots were dead and I was downed and she alone killed Mino with half of its health. It was so epic.

Waow, you surely showed me.
Look at all those things I have talked about MULTIPLE times in this thread; they were all fixed in this useless list of fixes!
How could I miss it???
Clearly I am completely insane and the bots are actually behaving very well and efficiently in my games.
That’s so crazy! To miss so many things ported directly from Bot Improvemements over the years, and missing them from the patch notes and ingame!
That is totally not a completely useless list of bugfixes to make the bot even work correctly; not the actual AI changes I have asked for.

Maybe don’t blatantly ragebait what is pretty much just honest feedback.
Feels like all of you terminally online people on this forum picked this thread to just crap on my OP, as if better bots would be an unmitigated catastrophe for all players of the game.
Guess what, I have good news! Looks like Fatshark will be sanctioning the mod once more, possibly soon.

Ok, so I tried it and even though I’ve been playing very rarely for a few months now and I’ve never been a particularly good player, Cata solo with all books was pretty easy. Bots are not perfect but they are much better than you describe. If they act so bad in your games it means you are using wrong bots with wrong setup and probably not following the main principles of playing with bots…

Its rich you telling people not to post ragebait when you are already raging. No bait is needed. Honest feedback? cmon guy, its not honest. Its exaggerated and easily contested. Maybe if you stuck to the reality of the issues and didnt jump down the fingers of anyone who dares disagree with you, you might find people to be more agreeable.

I disagree with how bad you make bots out to be. If you’d calm down and actually read my replies, in essence, I agree with you.
Nobody here thinks better bots would be a bad thing. From what I can see some of us just think you are overstating how bad it is.

I am actually having more less same experience as you.
It is amasing people refuse to admit to the fact how bad bots are this patch.
Really hope Fatshark could at the Very Least sanction back Bot Improvements - Combat, however there’s an april22 dev post there that states they won’t!

Ignore them, I have no idea what’s their issue.
Don’t worry, Bot Improvements is getting sanctioned again as soon as its owner and developer complies to Fatshark’s reasonable demands in the comments.
Loving that insanely cherrypicked OE gameplay, btw. Very organic.

It is not OP build at all. I did not take Trollhammer and if you saw the vid then except of the boss fight I used only one bomb… But if you wish I can do the same with any other Bardin career and build.

There are some minor (probably 2) changes I’d make to make BOTs servicable without being better than players.

  1. Revive me when youre literally standing over my prone body.
  2. don’t headlong charge gunners and flamers expecting to headbutt bullets out of the way. I’d rather they just ran for cover.

that’s it.

I hate this bots so much… Trying to play Winds of Magic weave 60+ with bots, absolutely unplayable

yeah they’re awful, it sucks a single modder can do what an entire dev team cant

Have you played Darktide to see the difference?

Tides was never about bots, a true game is none in it.
