The game is currently in a very good state and keeps producing regular content like weapons maps classes is all fine to me. Except for the RNG system. Is it possible to come up with a system that allows you to decide how your weapon stats are? The crafting is too much like gambling

I just spent 3 mil trying to get the stats on a gun I wanted and a little spoiler, I didn’t get the stats I wanted. The ideal weapon rating is about 378+ but the problem is most rolls will give a weapon with a rating of about 350 and the worst part is even if you get close to a weapon with the stats you want, you still have to deal with Hadron’s crafting system which is another layer of RNG, because if you don’t get the perks/blessings you want, you get locked out of modifying your weapon furth…

Crafting still needs a complete rework

I’m having so much fun with the new talent trees even if some balance is still needed, however, why am I punished for playing auric missions, more characters and playing new weapon builds? Constantly at 0 plasteel and thousands of diamantine, missions don’t give proper rewards. So I had put the game down for a bit as the crafting system wasn’t finished and I wanted to toy around with it. I boot up the game do a few matches and go to the shop then shrine. #BreaktheLocks, again

Well, one of my biggest concerns when it came to locks was the ever changing landscape of buffs and nerfs combined with players inability to adapt their weapon blessings/perks. It just happened. Modification limit

Why is this a thing? Would it not be better if we are able to freely mod our weapons. It just seems like a artificial way to increase the grind. I don`t mind rolling for weapons with good modifiers but to add the mod limit, it seems like overkill to me. it is already annoying enough trying to get a decent weapon.

Lets say you could level your Weapon by using it. With every level you would get a WeaponSkillPoint. Mission Rewards Revamp Request

Ok… Full disclosure, I typically play on Damnation as an Ogryn. When we complete a damnation mission, the rewards should be much better than they are. We should have something like the following: 50% chance to get the same weapon we’re using (Melee or Ranged). There should be a “floor” of say 500 for item value. Idea For Breaking Crafting Locks

So this idea may possibly be in the works already, but in case it isn’t: Breaking a lock should cost the amount of Plasteel/Diamantine it takes to upgrade an item to Transcendant. ( ie. 678/287) Once a Lock is broken, a Lock is placed on all other perks, meaning you have to sacrifice the same amount of resources again if you wish unlock those. the following list is a combined cluster frick of curio crafting: the cost to upgrade a curio the locks the rarity of the emperor giving you a curio the curio reward perk not working the rng 1 have one curio with 3 tier 4 perks, its rating is 162, and its missing 1 perk i would want. out of all this grinding i should have at least 3 like this with the perks i want. this could be fixed easily.

Locks on blessings/perks aren't that fun

I know there’s been a lot of feedback on this already, but since I’ve now got about 200 hours in Darktide, I can see where people are coming from. So, after leveling one of my characters to 30 (+10 prestige levels), I decided to build a thunder hammer. Why is it so hard? Just turn them off. Let us change everything on the weapon. Let us play what we want and how we want. Why is this so difficult? Where to put all the randomness

I propose, although it realistically wouldn’t be done for awhile, To take all the rotating stores, and locks, and randomness on weapons and curios, and on maps, and instead of throwing it away, just placing it all in a “chaos wastes” dark tide equivalent mode where you can go through a rogue lite experience during runs and acquire random sets of gear within a session. Does anybody have an idea why Fatshark is so minimal on communications with the community? I know a some of us have been absolutely toxic- but, why is it so hard to get a absolute answer on where Darktide is going, or addressing what seems to be the biggest gripe which is crafting? Time to Uninstall Darktide

@FatsharkCatfish True to my pledge, I said that if patch #10 doesn’t do something to address the community’s biggest, outstanding issues with the game, I was going to uninstall the game and move on until such time that Fatshark makes substantive improvements to the game’s progression systems. Crafting needs something new to fix it

In V2 mats became pointless after a while and I don’t know about the rest of you but stopped opening chests around the 800h mark. beacuse you had all your red weapons you wanted for all charachters and some extra red mats for new weapons to try out. What keeps me from playing Darktide

No HI STG maps, i.e. no appropriate difficulty available. Give us a 6th difficulty which is HI STG please. It’s so freaking annoying to play right now: Check the mission board-website the whole day to see if HI STG is on, if yes me and my friend log in and are happy, just to see none after this map,… maybe for 30mins, maybe the rest of the evening, who knows? If Fatshark slowed down on content to fix bugs as per community demand, then why do Locks still exist?

I appreciate the bug fixes but why do you INSIST on keeping locks despite the overwhelming community feedback? Never once have I seen anyone talk about the locks in a positive light.

There has been countless threads about this already but for the love of god remove the unbelievably stupid locking system. I understand that there is design intent that was behind the choice to lock parts of items, but the fact the devs are choosing to rebalance blessings can effectively brick weapons people have heavily invested in.
