as the topic says the game simply does not start. i click play on steam, there it a breif moment where the play button changes to stop as is usual for Steam, then it changed back to play. no prompt no error message, it just wont start.
i had other problems with the game that are yet unsolved over here:

and this is yet another to compound the issue
i really genuinely want to play this game!

EDIT: Going to the game folder and clicking the launcher does cause this to try and launch, though istill get the above linked error ive been getting, so the game not launching seems to be something steam side i think

I have the same annoying issue. It just does nothing and the button goes back to green, no error, no nothing. Mine worked fine in beta…ironically only on release is it turning to garbage. Lovely.

local files where?

appreciate the new possible fix but still nothing man. definitely was a new one though haha.

right click the game in your library, go to Manage> browse local files.
in the files shown go into Launcher>scroll to file called gpu_detection.dll delete it. if its not in that folder try some of the others it should be sorted alphabetically so you shouldnt have much trouble finding it.

I press play button in steam, The PC behave lie it loads something? while the button became blue (cancel), shortly after that the bitton back green launcher didn’t appear. I t were better during Beta, at that momntn game crushed during loading after I press space, when the game asked me to do that

Crash Report (If Applicable):

  1. Click Start Game
  2. Doesn’t launch
  3. Tried starting directly from “start_protected_game.exe” in the files, game opens but it gives a backend error saying it cannot log in
