Issue Description:
Hi, for a couple of weeks now i have been getting the same “Backend Error, Error Signing In” message every time i try to play the game and i would like to know if its a problem with my account or if i have been banned and the reasons behind this ban and if it was a mistake because i have barely touched this game having only 2.8Hrs on record, i wish i could play it more often but currently im living in Australia and im moving a lot and not always have good wifi but when i do have it i try to play this game but i cant since im getting this message, i think i was able to properly open and play this game only 3 or 4 times in total.

Upload Console Log:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide\console_logs
  4. Locate the console log that corresponds with the session in which the issue occurred, by looking at the timestamps in the log names
  5. Upload here

Upload darktide_launcher.log:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide
  4. Locate the darktide_launcher.log in this directory
  5. Upload here

Hi @Zagg,

Our Backend Developers have taken a look at your logs, and it seems that something appears to be blocking your login requests. Looking at our backend data, no requests appear to have been made by your account at the times shown in the logs.

In this case, I suspect the issue is likely Firewall/Anti-Virus, or ISP related.

Please ensure that you have appropriate Firewall and Anti-Virus exceptions in place.

You’ll need to add exceptions for:

  • Darktide.exe in \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Warhammer 40,000 DARKTIDE\binaries
  • EasyAntiCheat_EOS.exe in \Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat_EOS
