The Crafting Memorial; lest we forget

I wish I knew who wrote the comment, but I’d like to echo it here.

The opposite of love isn’t hate, it’s apathy.

The people who comment out of concern and wanting a situation to be better do so out of caring.

Just a sentiment I wanted to convey.

Everything is said already.

Edit:
Just to fuel my anger towards this absolutely atrocious system I said hello to Brunt again.

This system is simply the best! It makes everyone happy to delete the ordo you accumulated over 15+ games and get nothing for it.

Zamm bro I was just stating my thoughts on the topic :disappointed_relieved:

I also dislike the crafting system.

That’s it.
I’ve said this in so many ways in other posts, I have nothing more to add and have given up hope that this will be fixed in the next 2-3 years at least, after which it will be irrelevant.

I feel ya, brother.

Just wasted my last hard-earned plasteel on a useless Curio. I’m out of here until the crafting system is fixed.

this is solid User Experience research, FatShark should really consider what this says about their user base.

Are people buying a FatShark game or are we all here because it’s a Warhammer game and we’re stupid nerdy fans of the IP?

If it’s the latter, TAKE THE TIME TO TEST, becasue we’re not jumping ship to the next hype train.

If it’s the latter, FREE UP CRAFTING, becasue we’re not jumping ship to the next hype train.

Frustration is killing your game, not nonsense arbitrary Sprint deadlines.

I’m still playing, I just don’t waste time on the crafting system.

Gotta agree, I interact with it as little as possible meaning I’m down to playing the same few builds 95% of the time. What a good and varied crafting system, truly the Warhammer 40,000: Darktide of our time.

I stopped playing the game realizing that the current systems were just there to have us run back and forth past the cosmetic shop, tempting those who would ‘just check’ every couple of times while the rest of us were going to ignore it and complain about the RNG.

I stopped using these forums when I had a ‘discussion’ with someone about including an end game stat screen, where they were more interested in belittling me then having an actual discussion about the ramifications on the community.

Thanks for the ping though, good to be reminded that the game could’ve been great instead of like most GW lisenced games, good enough.

They changed this. The RNG store is now over where the crafting bench is.

Do we still have to run past it in order to throw the dice?

Nope. The only thing that makes you go near it is the vendor that lets you change your face/hair/whatever.

That’s good, along with some of the other changes that I remember reading off of skimming off of the patch notes that were posted on Steam. Not enough to have me come back as of yet, but a good direction to go.

Reporting in for the first time in a while. Logged back on for the first time since crafting was added, burned through my meager currency stashes on all characters at brunt, got one weapon that I’m reasonably happy with, glanced at the new penances, logged back off. Maybe next content update, or if the locks get dropped.

I am honoured to be included in the tag, however resistance is futile… unless the next content update does something juicy

Maybe one day the game will give me a more satisfying way to hunt for Thrust on a T Hammer than logging into shop checker to see if Melk has it today. I’ve poured enough plasteel down the consecration toilet I ain’t falling for that scam anymore. Imagine if the more rewarding way to try and get the blessing you wanted actually involved playing the game and knowing you could guarantee you’d get there in a finite amount of time? What a crazy world that would be.

Ah well guess I’ll just keep logging into a website more often than the game itself for now.

ive been playing Honkai Star Rail but im really sad because my hot warrior goddess Kiana is nowhere to be seen.

Fatshark currently performs like pre-programmed nurgle’s zombie - making small shambling steps in the direction they deluded themselves that they improving the game by adding droplets of new content, switching a balance a bit while constantly breaking the game, and ignoring all attempts to communicate with it about anything. Though maybe they have so little resources at their desposal and so inefficient management - that do nothing but follow some plan of works, and getting to crafting system somewhere in q4 2023. Or they just want to kill this game.
Also thier investors seems to be brain dead morons after such failed launch and loss of 95% of playerbase -some major leadership changes are in order but nothing happened, nothing game industry newsworthy, while few asses should have lost their chairs.
