This fix worked for me instantly.
Make sure you do it for both the Launcher and the actual game in the binary folder.
Had the same issue. Setting launcher and game exe to run as administrator fixed it for me.
Game won’t launch. Here is my launcher log. There isn’t a console log from today though, assuming because the game won’t launch.

I really hope this gets fixed, it’s legitimately infuriating that now it’s just “hey you can’t play the game you bought” i would send logs but reinstalling the game, and it would appear i’m not the only issue. I was waiting for this patch to drop in the hopes the annoying ass crashes and freezes would be fixed, but now I can’t even get into the game to begin with. I really hope this gets fixed by today at least, god knows how many others are having this issue.

So far I’ve verified my Game Data, reset my Settings and reinstalled the game.
When I start the Game, the Launcher opens, but the game doesn’t launch when hitting play (expect that the launcher closes)
Edit: It seems like I’m able to launch the game when opening “start_protected_game.exe”, but I can’t play because I’m getting back end errors on the title screen.
Edit 2: After I unchecked “run as administrator” on the Darktide.exe and ran the Launcher as Admon, it finally worked

there are no errors to display. the game seems to be running in steam. but no game is running. after pressing play and getting the settings window before lunching the game. after pressing play again nothings happens. game seems to be running in steam, but i do not see anything in the job list.
What i have tried so fare. verifying the files from steam. restaring the pc and reinstalling the game. and now still nothing. no sure what els to try

Same issue. I read the launcher log and found this error message:
“07:00:06.781 [Launcher] [Launch Game] Error starting process: Požadovaná operace vyžaduje zvýšená oprávnění” (translation: The Requested Operation Requires Elevation)
So, I ran the launcher as Administrator and the game launched just fine.

After updating Darktide will not launch from its launcher. I do not have any Epic installs currently on my computer, and Darktide is installed through Steam. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game already today after the patch, and my GPU drivers are up to date as of today as well. The requested logs are attached.

Dont even get to the screen for pressing play or settings. splash screen shows and dissappears. sometimes darktide will show in task manager, sometimes not. tried setting the launchers to run as admin, no luck, tried disabling full screen enhancements, no luck. As fyi, darkside launcher log not updating, game wont even get far enough for it.
