No it does not. See MMOs. The big raids are only done by people who care and there you DO get gameplay affecting gear, that usually also looks cool.
Well, I don’t give a crap enough. You are digging your own hole for your foot you’re shooting.
You got my warning, you’ll not get my “I told you so”, if things come to pass.
Long ago, top end mmo raids and their rewards were locked behind the need to be in a competent guild. Not just any guild, it had to be one populated by skilled and prepared players. The community itself gatekept it by filtering out the people that weren’t up to the task. Even if you did get into a PuG raid party, you’d just get kicked if it turned out you couldn’t keep up.
No idea if that’s still the case, I haven’t played an MMO since WoW Lich King, but that’s about the only way to have high difficulties that have exclusive rewards and not have them swarming with unprepared leeches who just want the rewards. Unless you want people to pass some kind of skill/gear test to get to the next difficulty, or something. Which, incidentally, were things most top-end raids had built into them.

“Reds” need to just be craftable and the occasional reward in Auric. This will prevent people to leech in Auric. (At least not more than they already do)
I’m so tired of having to login on the character I am trying to kit out while I level other characters. What idiot dev genuinely thought this would be engaging in the slightest?
enemy monsters drop “archeotech shards”, upon collecting 5, you can upgrade any weapon to a Archeotech Relic weapon (red), shards can also be bartered for with coins from the daily quest system.
They didn’t. They want you to main a single class. Why do you think progression siloing is a thing?
Ok this made me laugh. Love it.
The genius who designed the Mourningstar to have no hotkeys and made it whenever you changed characters you had to run past the cash shop to check your hourly equipment refresh at the armoury.
I lived, bich
So returning after coming back to the game post long hiatus. Overall a lot of the reasons I came back is that the new talent trees are fun and sone of the frustration is gone but I’m going to throw in my 2 cents on crafting only starting with the positives.
Pros:
+Resources are finally account wide. This was one of the big pain points that imo really stopped me from wanting to play. Rather than having a bit of crafting mats here and some dockets there it’s all in one place which makes building multiple characters far less painful. I also don’t feel like I’m wasting time playing characters already geared up
+We can pick our skills without having to roll, the roll system being gone cuts down on a TON of wasted time. I’m fine with paying to change an attribute but the rolling was a huge waste of time
+having a pick any two system is an improvement and has lead to a lot less junked items. It’s also allowed me to better tune older weapons with a lot more freedom
And now the cons
-The ratio of plassteel to Diamantine seems disproportionate and we still lack a trade system for trading down resources. This has lead to a few people jumping into damnation and Aurics waaaaaay before they should
-Items are still very beholden to their base stats and there is no way to really fix it. This still makes a lot of orange items unappealing leading to them mostly be bartered. It also preserves the brunt lottery where it’s either roll greys or hope a good green pops up
-no scrap for material option. I don’t really get why this isn’t a thing for even a small amount. Yeah you could technically credit your way into plassteel but you have 2 crafting resources for a reason.
-Still not crazy about locks. Really don’t know why they are even being kept at this point.
-still not really much benefit to unlocking level 1 or 2 blessings as 3s and 4s. If they could be combined or had an alternative benefit sure but as it stands it’s mostly replacement or credit fodder. This especially plays into how overall gear score effects future item rolls.
EDIT: point I also forgot to include but was pointed out above, lack of hot keys also flows the process down a bit. I’m fine with running around at first but sometimes I want to quickly check crafting and cosmetics and dockets without having to awkwardly run around. Warframe has both a hot key and the ability to interact with ship systems so please take a note of that
I would be lying if I said I haven’t found some cool stuff since coming back but it mostly leaves me wondering if it’s a case of some lucky rolls or if the system actually changed all that much. I think the changes are in the right direction but time will tell if the old problems don’t just settle in again
Oh they definitely knew people would love it if it was unlocked. But I bet it was so that people wouldn’t reach end game so quickly and get “bored” without progression from their perception. But really solution is to live up to live service and introduce new weapons say every season so there is more to craft, so never really end game and never really meta.
The same restriction prevents players trying new ideas across classes. Trying new things alleviates the boredom itself.
I bet there were loads of people when they read update notes that day and just said “oh come on…it is still 2 locks”.
Once you got the resources then you are then treated to fitness style beep test running back and forth armory and crafting station.
If only possible for a QOL mod that can automatically buy/craft/keep/sell based on set conditions.
Or just not craft at all, until a T5 mission drops what you want in order to choose 2 perks/blessings to get result you want without RNG. Honestly might be better to play this way as weapon balancing is such a continuous process you might find your favourite weapon gimped after all that effort in future by an update.
i mean people will deviate from meta even if not optimal, but sometimes for the fun of it. I say give them ability to do so in a more reasonable time investment.
FS want opinions of people that do not engage in forums. I say the people on forum are more engaged with the game more, more interested and more weight.
I mean would actually be very easy to get feedback from thousands. Just offer incentive to do so. Free dockets and materials after giving poll response say.
But with over 600 responses. It is obvious on the direction wanted.
I had a whole essay typed out about how mad I am right now about the blessing grind and how it’s the #1 reason I’m not experimenting with all the recent changes, but it was becoming an incoherent rant that can be succinctly summed up as follows:
Ahem.
**** the blessing grind. I’m going to play starcraft.
Thank you for your attention.

I buy 7.
Hey catfish, simple request… I am running out of characters. Had to delete some stuff to stay under the maximum character limit. Any way to increase that?
If not it’s ok… Will have to do it like the patch notes I guess with a part 1 and 2… ![]()

Visit Brunt’s Armory to get a chance of getting a possible Tier IV blessing “Voluminous Posting” that increases the number of characters per post between 3-35 per line in close range to keyboard with additional 2-10 stacks of brittleness applied to keyboard on first stroke.
