Wish it did have steam mods support. Just let it update and do it’s thing. But now it is one more browser tab to auto open to check for Nexusmods tracking for updates.
Just show ammo counter for players. I could live without the other mods. Well actually stim pickup icon mod is highly useful. I’ll keep that one only.
The input latency in this game though. Just feels is it getting worse over time.
If the past is any indication, there will be only a handful of mods that will break in any way. And they’ll either be completely obsolete or fixed within a day or two.
Many people will put in an ounce of thought or effort to troubleshoot the issue themselves. But there will always be people who refuse to read upthread or the #announcements on the modding Discord, and they’ll either turn mods off or post the same issue posted 30 seconds before on the Discord/Reddit until someone helps them.
I mean, considering that the update most likely going to break a lot of stuff, I doubt that many modders are slower at updating their mods than fatshark fixxing their errors.
We’ll see. Acquisition still having RNG is dumb and they should have switched to a static loadout system IMO but it’s better I guess. Additionally when new weapons come out grinding out their weapon trees just to try and see if they’re good or not will also probably suck.
It’s positive but I can’t help but feel more interested in whatever else is coming with the update.
They’re honestly excited about this one. They didnt have a pregame timer for the class update. This is a mea culpa and they know it so they really gotta make use of the opportunity they have.
I’m tempering my enthusiasm based on what we’ve seen so far. Very little concrete information and Fatshark loves to trumpet tiny progress like it’s a gigantic leap forwards in gaming development history.
Alright, looks like we will have one slot machine to contend with instead of absolutely everything being a Casino of hell. I can tolerate that. Overall the Q&A looked promising.
