I never did get around to listing Vet’s specific talent problems in the Book but I’m very happy they finally acknowledged reality and changed the buffs to be ‘not getting hit’ rather than ‘no enemies nearby when we explicitly make this game spam them so you never have a lack of enemies nearby on higher difficulties’

I’m sure this make more sense in context with the patch notes I can’t read :joy:. The little context I have sounds good though.

Both of those really annoying ‘only works if no enemies within 8 meters’ vet talents now work on ‘not getting hit in melee for a certain time’ instead. I think it’s both toughness Regen and more ranged damage?

That’s pretty cool, although depending on how long the “certain time” is, the toughness regen might be irrelevant. We take that extra damage though.

Changed Condition: ‘When no enemies are nearby’ to ‘When you haven't gotten hit in melee for 8s’.

Damage 20% to 15%

I wish I shared that optimism. But until people start going to court I don’t see anything changing.

Aye, even the ones dissing EFL or the Ammo Scarcity are like “This should be a rotating modifier” because people know at least logically, it’s supposed to be hard. It’s just a failure of the mode that it remains hard in the same way, every time and doesn’t shift as much as they said it would.

Of course, I’d like to think the new modifiers might help with that. Buuuut no one’s playing Havoc so, who knows.

The rest of the complaints are about meta systems, the deranks and the party finder. Which remain only partially addressed, and not in any meaningful way.

The only thing I have to complain about is them doing the same thing all post-mid-2023 skins did (removing the weapons to sell at a higher price point), and taking off the ‘look it’s more expensive’ emblem lol that got fixed, anyway

I’m not in a particularly charitable mood when it comes to the cosmetic shop, but complaints about these seem limited.

Current running complaints for this game are basically ‘make Havoc less dumb’ and ‘give us Solo Mode it’s been two years’.

It’s been 2 years they acknowledged the code error 2014 and went absolutly silent about it

If so, you’re SOL. Fatshark will maintain the console ports to the legally mandated minimums, not an iota more.

I’m still salty about the weapons customization system they spoke of but never delivered.
I hope one big update this year is the addition of this system but i don’t have much hope.
For now a more realistic expectations is a up in pace in terms of story beats, i Feel that only now we are starting to get something remotely interesting. I feel like we should also get more campaign like mission ala orthus offensive with possible multiple maps one after the other.
With more hopium i am also waiting on a admech class.
