Is there a stab happy Devil’s somewhere? All I saw is a push stab on like one or two marks I don’t remember really. You should think of the special as a turbo cranked built in thrust, that can also give you grossly strong lights. Having a meter is the only thing keeping it from being mega upgraded Mk6 power sword, with way better access to peak damage.

i agree 100%, a lot of darktide’s dlc weapons dont really feel that engaging since they don’t punish you for doing the wrong moveset. arbities parciularly was the worst offender since the actual damage loss of people not doing a proper single target damage was so negligible that most people don’t even notice that there’s a single-target combo on the arbities shock maul of doing (Heavy-Lights repeating), even in hard content like havoc jugging by how many arbities PF pubs use it wrong on party finder. It’s just constant light spam and you’re perfectly fine and that’s really boring. Hivescum’s kinda in the same boat with the shivs and crowbars basic combos can just be light spam into hordes… which kinda blows. Bonesaw is pretty cool though.
I really hoped that when fatshark was moving away from melee-centric focused gameplay when creating darktide from vermintde that we’d get more unique melee weapons- which I feel like they sorely lack on besides a few contenders like the (mk2) relic blades and heavy swords. The power sword is SUCH a breath of fresh air to not only have a weapon that actively demands you to actually engage with it on its own terms. Hope we get more fun weapons too. Hell, I’d be fine with a billhook copy.
Mk7 is the stabbiest, but it’s only the PA and the parry light attack follow up.
easy way i found access to the horde clear attacks was
either a block into heavy then light
or light into heavy then light repeat
90% players rn aint regular players, for this game usually got less than 5k players everyday. now it turns out to be 50k+ players, i dont think players that only come back when theres a big update would spend much time n effort learning how to do weapon combos. just look at that how popular “keep swing” n “skitarius” r on nexus. skitarius is macro.
It’s nice to have a couple of weapons with a complex moveset so there’s something to learn even for players with lots of hours. They might add an easy to use variant somewhere down the line.
You can still use that weapon without optimal combos in every difficulty… You will just deal less damage.

Anyone abusing macro without a health reason will just forever stay an awful player.

Because you’ve brought up Tieba over and over and over again, let me put it this way: Tieba is basically China’s version of Reddit. There’s plenty of toxic garbage on there, although there are also a lot of useful guides and discussions.
