Reviews for this game are not good

so whats the alternative? writing a positive review and lie about it?
nah even if it means they drop the game entirely i won’t lie to people about the state of the game
just as much when i buy a game and read reviews i dont want to be lied to.

thats just integrity

then i would consider changing my review to positive,
simple as

Maybe 67% mixed reviews will help them reconsider?

That’s Fatshark’s fault for releasing the game in the state it’s in. People are understandably calling a spade a spade.

I dunno if you realise, but different teams of people work on different things. If the art team have made a bunch of cosmetics and all implementation takes is a shop to buy them on a timer, that’s a short job. While another team might be working on a satisfactory system for the rest of the crafting implementation. And when you look at the VT2 crafting system, a fair bit of it is already in there and this is new stuff.

It’s almost like they should have been working on the crafting system in their 3-4 years of development time.

There is 3 classes with the same weapons. Good luck rolling stats for each character.

Sharing weapons wouldn’t work in this game because as Ogryn you’d be RNG’d out of all your character specific weapons.

doesnt change the fact that they were willing to nickle and dime their playerbase further, even tho the product is in an unterly unsatisfactory state.

Would prefer to share everything, ogryn can only use ogryn weapons and nonogryn cant. Doesn’t detract from what we have, simply adds to the other classes.

You’d need to wait until the crafting system was completed to see but honestly I think it’d make levelling your first character as a new player beyond tedious. It’d make levelling subsequent characters a bit easier but does that matter if you get ground out the game early? It’s already grind heavy as it is.

Sadly true, but it reflect´s what people think about the game.

Imagine how the numbers were without reviews from the beta.
In the beta / preorder beta you could still have think yeah it´s just a beta it get better.

But the result looks like this right now:

Looks more like mostly nagative after release.
FS need´s to make serious changes. But i think the sold a few million copy´s and made there cut already so why should they care?
Feels more like they will abandom the game like other bigger company´s did 1 year after or so launch an move on.

I think they made a mistake, should admit this and change the bad things.
I know this will not be happen but at least you can dream.

I think I’ve heard this argument before. Cannot imagine where XD

And also this is why most company´s plan how and when to use there manpower and teams.
But maybe they forgett this also …
Just saying :innocent:

This was totally expected.

FS has a bad record of keeping their games in unpolished state, adding broken features, with some bandaid fix instead on refining what they got.

The behaviour I hate more is when they fix “bugs”. They are faster than light when there’s an exploit or a bug which is favorable to the players. After 5 minutes you’ll see a hotfix.

It’s a bug which is actually detrimental to the players then “Erm… Ok!”.

Look at the shop, as lvl 30 i get like 20 trash items to „select from” and maybe 5 that have decent rating, but stats and traits are RNG.

Its hard to get a desired weapon type from the shop, let alone stats.

Shop needs fixing, not weapons sharing.

As for curios, they got +XP which is useless for main chars.

It is not shop need fixin, there should be craft weapon option.

Of course. But with the crafting mats cost… ive played since beta and if i upgrade 5 items im out of diamentide.

Shoulda woulda coulda. We aren’t getting that. We’re getting a re-roll feature at some point before the end of December (doubt it’ll be out before then).

The game is in quite bad shape performance, content, and progression systems wise and absolutely deserves the criticism. I could not even pick up the damn grimoires last night to complete the weekly and it pisses me off, but can we stop calling the mtx store “f2p-style” because it sounds like just trying to add more hate for the sake of it.

F2P style stores have progression boosts(XP etc), convenience items, QOL features behind monetization and in worst cases P2W character power items, Darktide has cosmetics and nothing else, it has nothing that affect the actual game like “f2p style” items. Ubisoft sells 80€ games with mtx store that sells f2p style boosts, it’s absolutely disgusting, and I’m glad that is actually one of the things we CAN’T complain here…
