I guess that’s what happens when you release a broken unfinished game.
suggestions:
fix the game crashing frequently
reduce the insane grind
fix the numerous serious bugs
improve the terrible optimization/performance
improve the extremely long loading times
I have a feeling we’ll get a bit of work on this game and then they’ll just jump to Darktide 2 - the damage to the rep of this game has already been done. They could either put in a lot of effort to fix it, or, they can put that effort to a second game that they could sell to get more positive reviews

The crashing, definitely. I keep having this weird sudden crash-to-desktop crashes during the final minutes of a run. It’s infuriating to lose out of gains.
The grind would be reduced if resources was shared inbetween characters, something which it currently ain’t. If crafting existed, it’d also help plenty.
The bugs needs fixing asap. Sadly, this is a slow process overall.
Stability, as well. I’d had my fair share of server hiccups and I miss being able to play P2P. I got a 500/500 fiber internet damnit. Having to rely on dedicated servers is infuriating.
Rather pay 70 bucks for a finished game than 40 for something that deliberately and willfully gets released unfinished with f2p-sytle microtransactions.
I can’t really complain about the microtransactions because I bought some cosmetics so that would be hypocritical of me. Given the state of the game though, it was a mistake for me to give fatshark more money. Including the imperial edition, I think I spent $65 on the game. To be fair, the imperial edition does get you some cool stuff, but I thought I was paying for a finished game.
Or rather, the gameplay is amazing, but everything built around that is trash.
The negative quickly outweigh the positive in DT’s case, and it is very saddening.
I wish they looked more at these forums and took the amazing ideas herein to implement them into the game.
I don’t know if they just don’t read, or if the info doesn’t reach the decision makers, or if they ignore them, or if they’re too arrogant to take them into consideration ; but something has to change.
For me its the constant crashes and by gods the loading times. The crashes are bad but made infinitely worse by the horrible loading time. It took me 5-10 minutes to get into the game and get a mission then crash and redo. It sucks all joy out of the game because I’m already pissed off before I even get into the actual game play, then get a bad combination of specials in game and it make you go “fudge it, why even play” because you have no patience left to deal with it.
FS showing a presence on minor threads in the forum and ignoring the flood of legitimate concerns by players who LOVE the essence of the game but can’t stand the bugs, glitches, crashes, lack of social, MTX store, etc.
I don’t mind glitches and bugs. These happen, and I know they’re working on fixing those, and I know they have a backlog of known issues that they’re slowly but surely working on. I also know they tend to reintroduce fixed bugs into releases because I think they develop new things on bugged branches and are not merging properly.
I cannot stand the fixes for bad design choices you can find all over the forums being ignored.
5.7 user review is fine, in fact player count started to go back up after the 12/2 hotfix. They’re going to need crafting in soon, though. “Coming soon!” isn’t doing them any favors in the long term.
