What do you think about adding more classes to this game?
I saw some people suggested “Tech Acolyte” or “Death Cult Assassin” got no idea who they are

I think they would probably make it a paid DLC, which I would be fine with. It would be one class with 3 subclasses in one plus new weapons and such.
My issue is it’s hard enough to gear 4 people already and do all the weeklies.
B fore they add new classes they really need to rework the crafting and weapon acquisition systems and combine weeklies instead of per character.
I would be fine with paid DLC. Just take my Money and give me a new class.

What about a new race? I mean - there are Tau and Eldars? Dark eldars are bad, but what about simple eldars?
Honestly I would be fine with a Tech Acolyte DLC class, ONLY if there is a crafting rework accompanying it, or coming in before the DLC class.
Anything as a new class wold be great. But I would not like if it was paid DLC. The predatory "micro"transaction system gets them enough money.
i would be hyped about a new class, just until i remember that i would need to slog through endless hours of mronic crafting that i end up not playing a single second of it.
In my dreams, the inevitable new class will come with a rework of crafting and melkbuck systems.
I don’t know why you should be fine with it as paid DLC when the game only has 4 classes compared to the 15 VT2 launched with.
New archetypes being paid is a given, but everything depend on how expensive they make them, like seeing as it would open up a 5th Prem shop venture I would say that it should still stay somewhat cheap (But by having new VA and all that still being paid).

So for me I think we won’t see an additional archetype any time soon, there are many different things they should introduce beforehand. And I think introducing new branches (With each time a dedicated paid cosmetic set) as free would be something that would, and should happen first (Ideally having 5 to keep a central branch)
I wish we could play as a member of a hive gangs with a punk style, like in Necromunda games. I feel that this class would fit perfectly as a reject.
I thnk the issue is that the Prices, i would hazard a Guess that FS will sell us new Branches and Classes but Each Branch must be Compadible with the Class So Stormtrooper(Karskin/Scion),with the Hotshot Vollygun Ultimate like Outcast Engineer or Drop trooper (if Jetpack/GravChute) allowing a us to Use the New Vecticallity they have added into maps. while Zealot Could do enforce with CyberDog, but once again issue comes out to be is that the Only thing they can do, this is why Adeptus Arbities Won’t work for this game a Direct Class as a Branch of Zealot. While Ogyrn will have some of the toughest way of creating a New Branch as it is very limiting interm of what one can do following the Lore that been Set down for them. so we got the Gunner, we got Body Guard and we got Crusher/Skullbreaker.
with each new Branch i would assume you will Get themed Weaponry.
For examples:
Stormtrooper: Scoped Ryza Hotshot Lasgun, Scoped Lucius Hotshot Lasgun, Cadian/Voss Hotshot Lasgun, Hotshot Marksman Rifle, Long-las Hotshot-pistol, Powerfist. Bolt-pistol, Plasma-pistol
Zealot,Twohanded Melee Weaponary, Twin Powerblade, Shield and X. Neural whips.
Psyker: DH if Inqusitor’s Radical, More dispalines like Telepathy, Warp speed, Iron arm, Maledictum/Jam, Vortex of Doom!!!
While for new Classses Tech-adept/Skitarii can be seperate into different class. while one could do a Sevitor @Heretical_Cactus will disagree but it would allow for a way of bring in weapon that aren’t common to carry for A. Normal Guardsman and B. the Ogyrn, while Ogyrn could be Made into one as they are a Mobile weapon’s and Kill servitors. and you could go further with a Kataphrone Sevitor as a Destroyer and Breacher. while yes it “impracial” one could bring one along. bt if you do that then you got 3 branchs and a whole new class.
Weapons a Sevitor Could bring. HeavyBolters,Plasma Cannon, Multimelta, heavy Flamer, Autocannon, Lascannon, Flail, Powerfist and Arc/Hrydolic Claws. those are all for the common servitor. while a Kapaton Servitor could have much more.
Cosmetics wise you can do alot with different Forgeworld’s armour sets. and for class wise ability you can switch between what type Mortization you have tracks, anti Grav, Legs, Ball. Spider legs. as Servitor’s are very Much unique to the Creator. allowing for a large number of Options. ontop of Combat ability/Ultimates could be like Smoke clouds or Dashes, Aim assistance, Taunts,Pushes, Radiation zones. Grenades.
for New Classes it won’t be A SOB as they are typically Depicted as in Power armour and that basically triples your resilience and Strength compared to a Normal and apart from a Hospitlier which again Heretical Cactus will disagree with. it very much limited inters of weapons and they share basically identical roles/Peronsalities to that of a Zealot.
While Rattling Could Be Done, the issue is what can Be done with Him. DRG style Grappling hook?, Stealth, the issue is they are Copy and paste Guardsman with a Shorter Stature.
I don’t think they’ll do branch restricted weapons.
I think those would not happen as a normal weapon, as they are simply “better lasgun”. And should still have loads of Ammo, hence why they would need to be a Veteran Stormtrooper Ability instead (à la Outcast Engineer)
Heavy Bolter: Ogryn
Plasma Cannon: Book has them on Ogryn once or twice, but I don’t think it’s needed
Multimelta: Same as Plasma Cannon
Autocannon: Ogryn
Lascannon: Ogryn
Falil: Multiples should happen (Ogryn Flail; Ogryn Flail&Shield; Zealot Chain Flail; Vet+Zeal: Shock Flail; Vet+Zeal: Shock Flail&Shield)
Powerfist: Should happen on the Veteran and possibly the Zealot (Could adapt Augmenting fists for the Ogryn)
Arc Claw: Aren’t a normal Servitor thing
Kataphron Servitor would not make sense, even less than normal Servitors.
Servitor’s easy role to be introduced as would be as Summons, à la Necromancer, where the ability would be calling out a small group of Servitors (Not too many of them, as you could stack abilities with other Tech Rejects)
Would not make sense lorewise, Inquisitor make DH when they need information, making a load of DH and putting them into squads that are working deep in enemy territory wouldn’t make sense.
Archetype would be sold due to VA work, but Branches really wouldn’t be easly sold due to being part of the tree that already exist (Same way they couldn’t have sold the 2 branches they added.)
I’m not getting what you’re saying, an Enforcer branch (Not Arbites, those are something specific) would have the Cyber Mastiff only as the Ability, the Blitz, Aura and keystone (Though tbh I would say having the keystone linked to the Ability would be how I would balance it out) would be Enforcer themed, but not linked to the Cybermastiff (In this case: Blitz: Concussion Grenades, Aura: Suppressed enemy damage).
Ogryn Pit-fighter:
Left side (Melee damager)
Blitz: “Throwing Axes” Work somewhat like the Rocks, but you have a limited amounts of them, but they have better damage and cleave
Ability: “Frenzon” Short dash followed by X seconds where your melee attack speed and damage is increased.
Aura: “Sparks” Increase melee attack speed
Keystone: Increase movement speed and melee attack while at low toughness.
Ogryn Underboss: (Slave Ogryn inspired)
Right side (Balanced support)
Blitz: Blasting Charge: More plentiful than Big Bomb, but doesn’t have the impact of the box
Ability: “Fist of Steel” Quick fist strike, get multiple charges, great single target damage and good stagger
Aura: “Walk it off” Increase ranged suppression resistance (Like when you’re getting shot by Gunners)
Keystone: Not sure

You’re a prisoner convict turned recruited cannon fodder for the Inquisition.
It must be Imperium related.
Compared to V2 (5 characters with 3 classes each), Darktide basically has 4 characters with 3 classes each, with the ability to (almost) freely combine any of the features from the 3 classes of each character.
Also, daktide has a much more interesting talent system.
If you compare to V2, at least make it a fair comparison.

For hive Gangers, it’s very much a case of what could they bring which isn’t currently there.
And there are already Cosmetics about them
Agreed. My Plasteel is already on life support across all 4 of my Classes, and that’s not even getting into the frustrating nature of the Crafting system itself.
I’ve heard many suggestions - some are more plausible than the others.
At the moment, the most plausible suggestion for a new Archetype would be an Adeptus Mechanicus Tech Adept, as it would work well with the current Archetypes whilst having plenty of unique weaponry at their disposal.
I’ve also heard suggestions for Squats (40K Dwarves), Ratings (40K Hobbits) and Pariahs (anti-Psykers) - all 3 of which would be iffy additions to the game for a vast number of reasons.
Squats - To my knowledge, Imperial Squats are always going in and out of near-extinction via Tyranids during recent years - the Squats’ remnants are mostly volunteers in the Astra Militarum who specialise in fighting Xenos (can I get a “Rock and Stone”?), and thus the Squats that we could potentially play as aren’t particularly experienced against the Forces of Chaos.
Ratlings - They’d be extremely difficult to actually materialise in Darktide without them being just shorter, squishier Veterans.
Pariahs - Combined with this game’s lack of Psyker enemies and a Pariah’s theoretical effectiveness against Monstrosities already being taken by Zealots, Pariah’s seem almost completely redundant. Besides, our Psykers would be needing to pop more paracetamols than there are stars in the Leo Cluster in order to not pass out from the Pariah’s lack of a soul.
There are others but most of them are utterly ridiculous suggestions.

Scum gang warlord type class. Focus on stub weapons, SMGs, poison and exotic weapons that are normally banned.
One tree is obviously hit man which specializes into poisons, crit hits, and ambush tactics. Confusing grenades, poison darts, bonuses for elite or specialist takedowns.
Enforcer is much more straight forward tank but range flavoured with an ability to reduce damage for the team while drawing focus to them. Generally would make use of many stub weapons and short guns.
Finally Chem Dogs. On top pf giving out special stims as an ability and maybe getting a throwable vial of acid they also have improved stimming abilities such as sharing 1 stim with nearby teammates or auto generating a stim ok elite kill. As another neat idea have an ability to inject a still into an enemy to bestow the opposite effect (slows instead of speed, less damage outgoing instead of more, damage tick instead of heal. Wild targeting for their special ability in that way
