Siła oporu for ranged weapons is stopping power. In polish thats called “Moc obalająca” “Knockdown power”.
I’d go as far as trade “Rozszczepienie celu” or “Obrażenia rozszczepnia” for “Moc przebijająca” and “Obrażenia po przebiciu”. Cleave can be translated into siekać but this one can’t be used so neatly, also it can be used as verb “usiec” “sieknac” but it sounds silly. Przebicie translates to “Puncture” as in “Puncture something” so " Moc przebijająca" translates to “Puncturing power” explaining what it does, and “Obrażenia po przebiciu” will translate to "Damage after Puncture.
Did I get it correctly that there is a class of weapon called “Salvaged” - the grey, cheapest ones - which in polish are called “Ocalała”? That means survived. Id go for “Pozyskana” acquired by unknown means, or “Szrot” salvagable garbage, or “Znaleźna” - just “found it sumwha’ sah”.
Sometimes Ogryn character chuckles but the subtitle states they “sigh” “Wzdycha” dunno if thats intentional.
Subtitle for voiceline “kurdenareszcie” by ogryn is missing space, it should be “kurde nareszcie”. Also that sounds a bit silly as Kurde translates to Heck. Ogryn is a good boye i guess.
“Pox” in polish is not “wysypka”. “Wysypka” means “Rash” like a skin rash. Pox translates to “Ospa” like black pox “Czarna ospa”, chickenpox “Ospa wietrzna”. So any pox enemies like poxwalker are translated wrong. You could play with words there. “Poxwalker” can be translated to “ospowaci” - “poxy ones” since “ospo chodziarze” (literal translation) sounds extremly dumb, you could also go for “zarażeni” - infected, poxhoud could be “ospogar” - “ospo ogar” translating directly as pox hound, “pox burster” that’s a doozy. You could go for “szahid” which was derived from arabic “shaheed” meaning martyr, or “Ospobuch” from ospa and wybuch - explosion. Although “Pryszcz” - a “zit” would be most likely used by common soldiery since they pop like zits and leave the puss around.
Obrażenia uboczne - available at shotgun weapons I think - “boczny” means side-wise, “uboczny” means “incidental”. I think this damage comes as secondary to primary load of buckshot or whatever it is these things shoot. Thus I think “Obrażenia pośrednie” would be a better fit - “Indirect damage”.
Also: “Stabliność” in weapons - Stabilność literally translates to stability. I reckon you mean the quality that stops weapon sway or recoil. In that case it would be “Stabilizacja” - stabilność is a state in which something does not topple or wobble. “Stabilizacja” means “ability to stabilise” which I think we are talking about here.
I have no clue how did you make it as some of the translation is phenomenal - like the description of the initial melee weapons for ogryns, and some is just atrocious or certain dialogues.
Ordo dockets are translated as Kwitki Ordo. Kwitek is something neglectable, insignificant. Kwit however is not. How about “Kwity Ordo” or better yet “Kwity Inkwizycyjne” - Inquisitorial dockets.
Especially since in Poland right now there are these goddamn maniacs calling themselff Ordo Iuris who try to introduce extreme right wing measures into the polish law system. I love me some Ordo Inquisitorum but these weasels taint it
Strike team - “Zespół uderzeniowy” nah man. The smallest element of the army structure is “Drużyna”. “Drużyna uderzeniowa” sounds a wee bit redundant but its better than Zespół.
The description is too long.
“Zwiad wykazuje mniejszą koncentrację wrogich sił i specjalistów w strefie misji” the secondary sentence is redundant as less enemies means less combat.
Unosiciel? That means someone who elevates. If you want to make jokes about stair moving up or down use “Schody ruchome” - “Escalator” literally moving stairs. Or simply “Schody” stairs - waiting for stairs some weird enough.
I guess wysypkołaz is butchered poxwalker, or rashwalker in that case. What are moaners - jękacze?
In a game so focused on melee combat “wskazane jest zabrać broń do walki w zwarciu” "it is advised to take melee weapon for the mission is rather out of place. Maybe “Zmniejszona widoczność. Przygotujcie się na więcej starć w zwarciu.” ? “Lessened visibility. Get ready for more close quarters combat.”?
“Maks. +1% do szansy na trafienie krytyczne - skalowane z długością ognia ciągłego” Now it sounds like i can get up to max +1% to critical chance. What it should be “+1% do maksymalnej szansy na trafienie krytyczne - efektu rośnie wprost proporcjonalnie do prowadzonego ognia ciągłego.”
is it “Bench” in english as in judgemental sector of the Magistratum? Because in polish its just “Bench” as in a simple bench. if that is what it is then no quarrel on my side.
That “Potok” literally means stream. However stream in geographical sense. If its streamed fire, than it will be “Ciągły ogień”.
I presume in that case it’s not the same Salwa that is used by Veteran Marksman, because otherwise this gun is useless for everyone else. “Serii” instead of “Salwie” here, and “Seria” instead of “Salwa” in the name.
“Raz na jakiś czas” also “Ci” in written polish is capitalised if it refers to someone, “Pan” “Sir/Mister” will be capitalised if I will adress you as such.
Bumping the topic until i get some confirmation that someone is looking into this.
That I can confirm - I’ve seen Russian Spasibas, german requests for ammo and such…
Poziomy or Efekty - used ’ instead of / here. My mistake.
About that Ascender, you could use “Poczekajcie na uniesienie”“Wait for the elevation” would be misleading and a bit sexual. How about “Poczekacie na możliwość wstąpienia” “Wait for possibility to ascend” it would be old polish biblical as in “Wniebowstąpienie” ascension to heaven. Also: Unosiciel in polish would be this Ork-looted word. I mean - I understand it but I doesn’t exist in the dictionary in a bad way. As in - calling Plasma gun “Phlegmamiser”.
I want that Egret Plume Cavalier hat with red-white plumes becuase that will make my Ogryn look a tad like Mikołaj Rej - a polish reneisance poet who said “Niechaj narodowie wżdy postronni znają, że Polacy nie gęsi, że swój język mają” a loose translation would be “Let these heretical xenos know that Poles are no geese and they have their own language”. That would make him a Polgryn.
“Król Gałgan” Im not certain if that is ragged king, but the polish translation means “Ragdoll King”, perhaps “Król Szmaciarzy” if the region is called “Szmaciarnia”? Especially since “gałgan” is somewhat playful, heartwarming insult like “Oh you bastard you”.
That reads “Find the sensitive spot of connection on the marketplace” I reckon what you mean is weakspot so it should read “Znajdźcie słaby punk połączenia na rynku”. Considering that I think we were supposed to upload hacked coordinates for vip to arrive at our platform it should read “Znajdźcie słaby punkt sieci na rynku” “Find the network’s weakspot at the marketplace” or “Znajdźcie punkt dostępu do sieci na rynku” “Find the network’s accesspoint at the marketplace”.
Considering that “Peddler” is an lobotomised servitor closed in a cage it can hardly be considered a “Domokrążca” “hawkman/packman”, basicly “wandering trader”. How about “Sprzedawca” seller, “Kupiec” merchant?
“Armoury Exchange” means like “Armoury Tradeplace” but in polish it was directly translated to “Exchange in the Armoury” so like a verb. “Zbrojownia” Armoury, or if you want to have that exchange “Giełda uzbrojenia” Armaments exchange, or “Giełda sprzętu” Gear exchange".
“What kind of training does Sefoni provide? Immediately.” What? In english it is “Quickly now” as in “Decide” so i guess “Jakie szkolenie zapewnia Sefoni? Mów szybko.” Speak quickly or if you want to joke around “Jakie szkolenie zapewnia Sefoni? Natychmiastowe” An immediate one.
Bump for attention.
