Same for me. I count 25 crashes during the last two days. Included are the last 5. I don’t use any mods and my drivers are updated. Crash frequency has picked up a lot since the class rework.
I haven’t had a single crash since the anniversary part 2 patch which makes me so happy! I did upgrade the firmware on my machine (Alienware 0.1.7.0) but I’m gonna attribute this quality of life improvement to the Fatshark devs .
But now I crash everytime there are too many particle effects, particularly fire, happening on-screen, even on lowest settings and/or lowest particle settings.
Before Traitors Curse Part II:
Used to crash randomly, often multiple times per match, no matter what I tried (workers, DLSS on/off, low/high graphics, rolling back drivers, reinstalling game, clearing game cache)
After Traitors Curse Part II:
Something happened where I don’t crash randomly, but now I crash from one or all of the following, sometimes happening simultaneously. Increasing graphics causes this to happen more frequently.
during explosions happening close to my camera (usually large numbers of them)
fire effects stacked, more frequently when many of them are stacked on top of each other (bombers, flamers, immolation grenades)
In the Meltafab 36 smelter location at the end, in particular

The only consistent part of the crash is related to me looking directly at the fire or explosion effects when the crash happens.
I haven’t been able to copy down all the GUIDs, but I have attached two and two console logs.
I have over 45 crash logs since Traitors Curse Part II, and all are seemingly related to me looking at fire effects before crash.
Game started to crash randomly during gameplay. Game started to crash late December and before that it has crashed only when there was a major problem with AMD cards. Only Windows updates and game patches have been changed on the computer where the crashes occurred.

Game crashed randomly during a session and now crashes when trying to load the character selection screen. I tried the multiple different suggestions from this thread, including doing a clean reinstall on my drivers.

Any idea what my gpu related error is related to? I’ll continue troubleshooting but I need SOMETHING to target because this seems to be a “make it look like we’re fixing it for them” because this game has been out over a year
I started crashing during gameplay and during loading screens after path of redemption dropped. The game freezes and immediately shuts down, or it hangs and I’m then either kicked from the match(error code 2014) or it crashes. This happens every single time I play after a few minutes of gameplay. It was not this severe when the patch dropped, no idea what made it worse. I had occasional crashes on loading screens before, but never during gameplay.
I have tried:
Running the experimental build
Turning off portraits
Changing game settings
Changing worker thread count to 1, 7, and 14
Disabling mods
Resetting shader cache
Verifying game files (no errors found)

how are we still dealing with this? It doesnt work on my PC, it doesnt work on my laptop, it doesnt work on my friends laptop. It doesnt even work on Geforce now. wtf have you been doing since launch?

I get crashes super sporadically. Sometimes in the Mourningstar, sometimes in transport, sometimes within a few seconds of the match starting. The only truly consistent thing is that it will crash at some point, before or during a match.
I’ve removed and updated my drivers more than once now, had steam verify all the files a handful of times.
Tried changing the deadlock timeout to 60 seconds in user_settings.config
I also have FSR off.
At my wits end.

I can’t seem to pinpoint anything specific that causes the crashes, but it might be related to the death of monstrosities? This crash did happen right after the death of a nurgle beast, but the first nurgle beast came and went without issue.
Anyway, the game has been unplayable for quite a while. I logged in today just to make it crash to provide some info, but as you can see, I didn’t get any…
The game simply freezes for 10-15 seconds and then disappears.

The game crashes during loading when changing locations. Very often, with a video driver error. It started after the patch removing the exclusive full-screen mode.
