GPU: RX 7900 XT.
CPU: Ryzen 5 7600.
RAM: 4x8GB Kingston Fury.
Drive: PLEXTOR PX-256M9PeG.
All drivers are up to date, Windows OS too. Both CPU and GPU are working at stock settings, RAM is working in EXPO AMD mode at 6000MHz. In game settings are set to automatic with portrait rendering disabled. Worker threads count is 9. Temperatures are normal.
Game is randomly crashing during gameplay and sometimes when trying to load into match. In the latter case decompression error is displayed. Sometimes it also freezes during playthrough, alt-tabbing unfreezes it, but the game seems as if out of sync with what actually is happening on screen. Disconnections from matches due to connection problems are also present. Few times Darktide crashed my GPU drivers even when no overclock was applied.
I tried reinstalling the game, changing in game settings to low, changing worker threads count to 2 and 6, trying different window modes (full screen, windowed, etc), resetting GPU and CPU settings. Nothing worked.
I have played Darktide before update 12 with overclocked CPU and GPU and technical issues were never this bad. I can’t complete even single match without crashing atleast once now, where previously it was very rare to experience any issue. Other games are perfectly fine (Team Fortress 2, Baldur’s Gate 3, Vermintide 2, Encased, Dying Light 2, 7 Days to Die).
Please help. I really enjoy this game, but it’s extremely frustrating to have to play through difficulty 5 and not get rewards, or get out of loop because you suddenly need to launch the game again.
