Is there going to be an update/announcement this week?

Just curious. I saw a blog article about level design, but I’m more interested in knowing what’s going to happen to this game soon given a lot of us were looking forward to playing it over the holiday break. Once I hit my 4th level 30, I feel like I’m just going to end up uninstalling for a year given the current state. :\

We need statements and a roadmap

Darktide has been met with a mixed reaction by many of us - the core gameplay is good, but there are some flaws etc, I won’t repeat the entire thing. There’s a reason so many are on this forum instead of having refunded immediately or giving up on the game at least for the time being, there’s no denying that. Please god, delay this game for another 6 months

After seeing the beta, there is no way this game can be released this year. The general software quality is just too low. So many crashes, non-working positional sound, environment issues. Performance… GFX issues, FOV slider missing, mouse sensitivity, low FPS, motion blur and bloom broken. The melee combat feels bad. You can kill entire hordes slashing through walls that shield you from ranged attacks. And it just feels off. Four classes with no real interesting options or skills on them……

So about that Crafting Roll-out

It was an absolute clown fiesta with how Fatshark handled the game’s “Beta” and its launch.
