Reasonable in your opinion. If Fatshark listened to everyone’s “reasonable” opinions, VT2 would be a very different game.
Also, it’s possible that your idea is miraculously perfect… well props to you, but how can you argue that Fatshark was aware of this possibility? They could’ve just tried a few things that popped to their minds and chose the best in their opinion (since they had a deadline). Just because they are not as brilliant as you are does not mean they are LAZY (with capitals).
If you are really skiled you can ignore any passive/talent in the game and play without them. But surprise that doesnt mean that dumb changes are good to the game. I would not say anything if they deleted hp regen from the game and gave some other random ass passive that would only mean i would use some healing supplies. But their way of changing stuff breaks/make useless other stuff. Thats just bad design choice. And thats the “key” point that makes people complain about it.

Yes, player who stays at high HP should be rewarded at least more than player who does not. Seems you are new player in V2, not a vet of V1. So I will explain you what is THE BIGGEST skill in highest dicciculties in Vermintide games- not taking unnecessary damage at all. That is why we have block, dodge, push, parry mechanic.
Staying alive is not an option in Legendary. You either play well or you die, there is no “just staying alive” there. And player who is above 50% always does better than “just sating alive”, no?
If you are skilled enough you are not below 50% HP. Best V1 players could go through Cataclysm taking no damage or almost no damage- that is skill. A passive ability which reward player who doesn’t try his best to not die in game is not a good mechanic at all. Hence why I proposed that regen is halfed below 50% HP and normal above it- so you have to actually play better to benefit from it better, not worse.
This. I don’t care about passive regen as ability as whole. They could have change it to Movement Speed or something else. But something that actually works fine and consistently

I get your point, but passive benefit is just broken.
Strong gain should be active.
Markus hunstman for example got good game design, if you headshot you get ammo or crit bonus etc…
Having bonus while doing nothing is just not skilled at all.
Ok now it reward low skilled player more, but really, getting a passive that strong without downside and no required skill from the player part should not be a complain for skilled player.
IMO it should get reworked and not be an HP reg in the first place. That would solve the problem, skilled player want skilled reward like headshot giving ammo etc …
Fatshark did a great job, and im impressed they rebalance so many things within such a short time.
then it s not perfect but it feels they care and do their best and will keep on taking care liek they did with V1 and even more.

Now we can agree man. They should just CHANGE it to something else. I don’t need HP regen to play Keri. But I won’t accept half-azzed lazy change that makes my passive more useless the better I play.
I can get any passive over HP regen, but make it work for everyone, not just bad players.

It is big deal because if you go from strongest but useful passive to - useless passive that punish good gameplay and you go from 3 viable talents to 2 talents that are now also useless- then this is big deal.
Because they should fix first useless talents and useless passives. Not adding more useless passives and talents.
Nothing to nerf there. crit chance was already nerfed. heat sink seems to have an internal CD. Move along.
Sienna got no need to vent management with pyro, how is that not an issue ?
Health on crit give too much temp health for sienna 10times faster attack speed than other classes in the game.
I mean i dont care, the gameplay looks really boring, but the damage make me cringe a little bit.
The temp health on crit being insane, and the heat management due to crit.
The main issue here is the attack speed or proc speed of beam, which is insanely fast for bolt staff and beam staff.
Until there is no intern CD on both temp crit and heat crit and reduction maybe of the number as well, the problem will remain even if one of them is fixed but the other is not.
Temp health = free vent basically.

Did you see what they did with Hunter? Now it is useless, ulti does not do any additional dmg to the bosses, it is no-go class right now. I always hated balancing around noobs.

They also changed neck with trait “you gain self regen but you can’t drink potion” - under 50% you can drink potion actually…
And tbh I don’t know if this trait was changed becose they want to or because it was the same “spell” as waystalekr self regen and this change was not intended
