How about for a start not letting the event progress go backwards because people had to jump off the platform to get their teammates up? There is not a single other event in the game where you literally lose progress like that, even with checkpoints that’s one of my biggest issues with it.

WE kill as much as is possible then jump down and kite
Another blightstormer
Warpfire
2 hookrats
One person died and no player on earth could have prevented that
We dont have the time or means to deal with specials and they just keep on spawning
One time we counted the specials by bardins ammo on the ground and - no deed legend map - 26 specials AND WE took god knows how many ammo staches during fights
So we were easily in the 35+ specials JUST on the end scenario
No sane person can say that this is okay, that entire MAPS have less specials than just convo end scenario
THis is the same BS that was old braschenbrucke with 300 kills per character JUST on the end part on legend
Wait did the event get changed? i thought it could only spawn certain special combo’s and never 5 specials at the same time like you are saying? are you exaggerating or did it legit get changed? You can let specials live and basically never get new ones as far as i’m aware, unless the event update changed it, in which case forgive. Isn’t the max like 2-3 specials at the same time.
Also your numbers are inflated af. i can literally go on engines of war barrel event and take super long and have 1k kills just for that event alone.

Play it on legend or cata and you will spend 15 minutes just on end. THe instant you try to go into circle you SWAMPED from all sides and dead in seconds

Its not unusall to kite cata sized patrol amounts of CHW around the sumoning circle = read 10+

I dont play V2 to breeze through levels, I play it cuz its challenging but fair
NO ammount of skill can do this IF the dicerolls are bad (and iam not talkign abotu blightstormers casting while 85+% of their model is hidden behind terrain and inside the circle YOU DONT see the green casting light)
I don’t mean to brag, but I had just recently completed Convocation on C3O, and the end event wasn’t nearly as hard as you describe it being on Legend (the triple monster in the pit is just cruel though). Even just disregarding that, I’ve done plenty of QP cataclysm runs on Convocation and don’t remember it being as hard either. I think you’re really exaggerating it.
I did it in a duo w/bots on cata like 2 days ago…it’s really not that big a deal mate
well then maybe I have strong enought PC for AI director to spawn 30+ specials on normal legend runs
All legend+cata runs we won were essentialy - huh there are like 1/3 of spawns than usualy are
There are only 4 CHW and not 10+
I can see 2 gases and one gatling
Instead of bonus blight, hookrat gutteruner
IF you have manageable amounts of specials on convo then good for you, cuz you have no idea how overtuned and unfun that finale is for me

2/10 runs are doable and entertaining
1/10 only couple specials spawn (like 5) and we are like wtf? where is everything
Does CPU power really affect spawn rate? I know it affects AI pathing, and it negatively affects my FPS whenever I host.
YOu cant really test this accurately but when what my group can kinda say is
Pathing on better processor makes hordes several times harder since they dont stand around/run through terrain (and you can kill them without them fighting back) but continously cirlce around, move and attack. Relenteless but very fun and active
On legend
Spawn rates are hard do decide fully but when I host we get around 400 kills each
When friend with slower PC hosts we get around 250-300
I played convo on cata (I joined a rando cata map) that was MILES easier than convo on legend when I hosted. On my convo on legend waystalker is MANDATORY to deal with 8+ specials spawning in span of 20 seconds

You are obviously exaggerating because I have never seen this many specials at the end of CoD in the 2+ years I’ve been playing this game. Not even on cataclysm. I would like to see video proof of your 35+ specials in the end event.
The only way to get better is to practice. Drop down when things get hairy, climb stairs and drop down again to give you space to perform necessary actions, and most importantly use the environment to counter specials.
The AI director does NOT affect spawn rates. If it did, my games would be rather impossible to play. If I remember correctly, it was @FatsharkJulia who disproved this rumor about a year and a half ago.
Yeah, a recording would be great, what you claim is way too wild. Like, how do you get 300 kills per character on old Fort on Legend? I’ve done that myself plenty of times before, I usually don’t host anymore, and 300-600 total kills per character is more what I see during the entirety of a Cataclysm match.
Another question is how can you spend anywhere close to 15 minutes in Convocation end event? Generally if you don’t win within like 5 minutes then you’ve lost. You also definitely don’t kite Cataclysm sized patrols. Keep in mind a Stormvermin patrol is like 20+ units, and a Chaos patrol is something like 12 warriors. Just from memory, a Convocation elite wave on Cataclysm can have something like 4 warriors, or 6 Stormvermin. Then throughout the entire terror event you get like 3-4 gunners and warpfire throwers, then a couple hooks, maybe an assassin or 2, 1 or 2 blights, a few globadiers and that’s it? Obviously with chaff thrown around as well. Only way you really kite that much is if you let that stuff build up.
There’s also the fact that it’s impossible for this many specials to be all at once. There’s a special cap which pretty sure doesn’t exceed 6 of Cataclysm, and end events have scripts which spawn specific specials with specific amounts. Saying you fight 30 specials at any given time is a blatant exaggeration, not even during the entirety of the end event is it possible to see nearly as much
If your convo has less specials than me, gr8 its okay you are having fun on a hard but fair map
If you are however me and other 67% of the people who voted here, there is something WRONG with convo ending
Some people are just bad
Some people compare it to other end game scenarios and rightfully say IT IS overtuned
And some people are like me who can say with 100% certainty that cata on ANY map is easier than legend on convo ending
Just cuz its not happening to you, doesnt mean its not happening to others

I went this map with bardin ranger to stay inside in invis just to cheeze it CUZ IT IS that hard, ended up looking at a area with dozens and dozens of ammo caches aroudn me. As said before 30+ specials just on the end with a group that east cata on breakfast

Easy, we spend on the end so much time exaclty because game didnt allows to go inside the circle
And then you must take into account people will die becuase of overwhelming presure not seen on cata, and this is legend
We DIDNT fight 30 specials at ONE time but during the entire event - game spawns 10 specials in span of 20-30 seconds

We couldnt be on the area becuase its suicide
And not only you will see that many of specials, it is inevitable.
You either have waystalker using Ulti on cooldown as much as is possible or you will drown in specials
I remeber cheesing it a little and not jumping down into the arena as WS but staying near the torches on the inbetween step
At once there were
2 gass at the same place
2 warp near me
Gatling and gutter on the other side
taht was FIRST batch on legend
There were several of batches like this every ~15 seconds
leeches, blighstormers by pairs hookrats you name it
TLDR NO other map on ANY DIFFICULTY has so much sh*t than convo end
NO other area no nothing
When i was doing cata achievements it was EASIER than doing convo on legen with all characters
look bud here’s how it is, either:
A. you’re a very unique niche case of event spawns bugging out
B. you’re exaggerating
Either way it’s not a good case for convocation being nerfed.
Or you are unable to comprehend that 67% of the people compared this event to other events and came to a conclusion that its overtuned
And Iam not going into spawns being in bad places where you hear 2 gases spawn but you are turning around 360, cant see any of them - and thats because they spawned below you and now you have 4 globes on the area
