Zealot build help

It’s barely anymore. What drives it up more than the concertation level is the rating. A 300-rated item will provide less than a 500-rated one. But it’s not worth the resources upgrading to 500, and it’s not worth going up to orange tier either.

The best way:

  • Buy the matching item from the normal armory of there is a green or blue item available and sacrifice
  • Buy grey items from brunt and upgrade ONLY to green and then sacrifice
  • If you don’t need MELK money for anything else, buy matching 500-rated + orange items from melk to sacrifice.

If only I had realised this a day ago :sob:

I wish I’d not misunderstood the system.

Hurting bad right now.

this build is actually terrible

  1. No second wind
  2. no until death/holy rev
  3. wasted point into desperation
  4. four wasted points going into viscous offering (lmao)
  5. immolation grenades exclusively kill trash mobs so kinda pointless on all builds
  6. Taking enduring faith on a weapon with low crit
  7. not taking good balance instead
  8. no keystone, zealot is not vet and keystoneless is just a meme

Here is a genuine build lmao and not some crackpot malice meme:

no until death no party

I don’t have the game open ATM but this is roughly what I’m now running and it feels pretty great.

A lot of this is wasted points that do not do much for you

with what weapon?

Heavy hammer

In case you use the scoreboard mod, i suggest that you get the plugin to see more detailed dmg information.

You can see damage dealt with bleeds for example.

It would not surprise me, if the bleed talent that you picked, would provide maybe 2k extra dmg per mission.
It is not great in combination with the thunder hammer.
I guess you could make use of the talent, when attacking bosses and jumpstarting it with your ability. But still questionable and highly situational.

There are a few other talents in there, that do not provide you a lot of value either.

oh then scourge i’d say to dump it xD not worth and barely does anything for thammer

I was wondering about the bleed. I don’t use mods so haven’t been able to check dmg in detail.

I will remove it and pick something else, thanks.

I really like it. Feels like Ogryn pickaxe. Lots of heavy swinging and hors clearing with powerful single target option for the big guys

not ironically it’s not even needed for DS that much
btw yea scourge is not good.

also blood for the emperor honestly, if you are not running multiple wounds, and martydom build, i’d say to dump as well. not that needed for survavibility imo!

keystone for thammer inexorable judgement would be nice

scourge is taken for increased crit chance with faster weapons that can stack it quickly, not only for the bleed

I would recommend Blazing piety and Invoc of Death instead of Martyrdom, to better take advantage of the Dmg reduction on crit, and then go full Toughness on the Curios (and maybe one Stam Curio)

mmh fair, but the damage over time is so low that barely kills anything over time for zealot, when it comes to scourge at least with Thammer.

scourge is meant more for high crit weapons that are fast and rely a lot on crits cause you get 10% + crit chance if enemies are bleeding (thammer sadly isnt lot of crits unless you charge)

purge the unclean also helps with horde, and bonus unyielding good one for extra damage for bosses since you run thammer would be ideal.

also if i pick charge, i’d at least have 2 charges
it is too way good being able to charge twice (more chance to say: “for the master of mankiiind!”)

  1. second wind only procs on dodges, viscous offering is an alternative.
  2. does other chars have something similar to until death/holy rev and or need it? if zealot really needs it then your extra dodges from IJ must not be very good.
  3. MAW POWAH is never a waste.
  4. refer to 1.
  5. nothing clears a room better than imo nades and flamer, anything left standing is what the Hammer is for.
  6. enduring faith procs every FOTF activation still helpful especially when you only activate FOTF when engaging enemies.
  7. why do you need more HP if IJ is there to dodge everything and you have INVUL and HP regen every 2 mins to abuse.
  8. refer to 7 again why IJ is considered a must pick when it seems to require several crutches to fall back on.

Yes. But the thunderhammer is a slow weapon that does not tend to need many hits per target.
How often do you think, you will actually stack this blessing’s crit buff up, when using the thunderhammer?

which is why in the build i linked im taking the other one?
i havent said once that scourge is good on hammer
