Ah, problem with this. Long term thinking. ObeseTubaFish, Tencent, their assorted shills, and most corporates hate long term thinking. If it doesn’t line their pockets now it gets tossed.

If we as customers don’t demand better and don’t voice our concerns, there is no chance for positive change - in most cases nowadays anyway.
I personally want this game and it’s community to prosper and realize the potential that I think is there. The proper solving of this issue by granting the deserved bonus aquilas to every player is paramount, as it would be a good step on the road to restore lost community goowill. If they do this, they could build upon that by the rework of the RNG itemization/crafing.
That above would be a double win and it could start a streak of wins if they continue to put what is best for players first. One thing is sure -Fatshark needs these wins considering their track record with this game so far.
Here’s hoping they finally heed our feedbank and act upon it.
At this point in time it is rather simple. Just never ever buy into fs corpo bs, ‘we’re taking all we have learned from vermintide and putting it in darktide.’ At this point anything they say is akin to saying the cheque is in the post. Don’t preorder, wait till they make it a journey worth traveling. Most likely a year after launch. Show them the disdain they have shown us.
They may as well go epic exclusive on the next title. Because they have micturated all over the steam pc playerbase.

Small pet peeve of mine, but the offer was extended to both PC (MS Store) and Xbox, not just Xbox.
Not the post convenient thing on the world to type compared to Xbox, just pointing it out for the sake of completeness.

Yes, that is true. But if you consider it, only players on the XBOX platform got the bonus aquilas, so this does not change that much.

If they indeed refuse to address this aquila issue properly, then they will completely lose me too. They already lost a lot of players with the out of touch nature of their higher-ups. I am at a crossroads with this company - I give them a bit of time this year. If they refuse to treat all players in this community as equals and don’t fix this aquila issue properly, I am out for good and won’t ever purchase another product from them ever. They will join the heap of trash with companies like EA and Ubisoft that should be avoided like plague.
They have the golden opportunity to start scoring good points with the community by fixing this issue. The “ball is bouncing on their side”. Let’s see what happens.
I’m mainly just highlighting it because in previous threads, I’ve seen people frame the issue as “Console gets X, Steam does not” and try to stir up a PC vs Console argument (despite the fact that the issue is Steam vs Microsoft).
That said, I’m not sure whether the offer was/wasn’t available to people who previously bought the game on the MS Store (all… 12 or so of us 
).
That is exactly why this issue affects everyone. This is a bonus all players should receive. That is the right thing to do and Fatshark should make it so.

Why do I have the feeling that by the time PC players received the Aquilas, it would become useless as everything is very expensive?
You can chalk that up for the decision makers at Fatshark again. Right next to their decision that split the community with this aquila bonus and the one that is the reason this thread is still here. They are completely out of touch with this community.
By the way we just reached 200 comments. Thank you everyone for supporting this cause. Hopefully Fatshark will finally heed our feedback and grant the deserved aquilas to every player.

you’re not getting aquilas, it was a buy-in bonus to get console players to buy the game instead of just using gamepass. you constantly being buttmad because you think you’re owed something here instead of realziing that console players weren’t going to buy the game otherwise and it would have cost fatshark a bunch of money in lost sales on physical games isn’t going to change anyone’s mind and constantly bumping your buttmad thread only makes you look sad.

Why give rewards to console players anyway, if steam players recently can be seen from 10k to 4k (yeah 4k, same as the avarage pre october patch, avarage cause it was already lower like 2k when the game was practically dead) xbox players most likely could go below a thousand, so the incentive for them 1 didn’t work n 2 the amount of people that bought the game has to be very low.
Soo the most sense of this will be give aquilas to the people that keep the game on float those months, the people that really care of this game being a great experience, those who gave feedback and those that for sure would love a little incentive too came back, check and try the cosmetics (or u really thing xbox players are more resilient and persistent than us pc players?)

As one of my points on this, did u really think it work?, give currency to a dead player base anyway instead for the people that really care about the game, even batter give currency to both player base.
Beacuse this really don’t work for me, as a both console and pc player, if a game “any” (Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, in this case) give me a trillion of is currency just for buying it, i don’t think it make sense, if i want to play a game cause i like it i’ll buy it anyway, don’t care if it gives me or not fake money.
