To be fair DT dose not support vortex at the moment, so you need a homebrew script first for the game to be recognised and managed by vortex…

Healthbars - IDK what the fuss about this is reeealy useful to work whit in tandem to your ( especially brain burst spyker) teammate… seeing they can finish off the enemy so you dont waste ammo is a valuable asste…
Full Auto - exclusively for laspistol… holding m1 so i dont killing my mouse but it has a drawback plasma literally unplayable w this mode, so i mainly turned off…
book_finder - eiter i have a map on my second monitor which has all book location marked or this bad boy notifying me within 15m
BuffHUDImprovements - allows me to saw hidden cool downs and porcs like spyker kinetic flare CD and ogryn lucky bullet trigger and the ability to priority which buff can showed on my screen
HUDTweaker - HUD coustumisation so i can move around the hud elementas
Inventory2D - QoL inventory
KillfeedImprovements - grouping up kills in a nice x[many] format so my feed not clogged up showing how much shotguner died one-by-one
NumericUI - self explanatory… instead of clueless bars i have exact numbers
reveal_blessings - you know what blessings your missing at hadrons list
scoreboard - M A N D A T O R Y
stuff_searcher - grant you a search bar in your inventory / vendors so you can seary your stuff by name
ui_extension - plugin which other mods use ?
keep_dodging - same as full auto but whit dodge you just hold the button instead of tapping it
CleanForceBlocking - remove the warp effect on the screen
DisableScreenEffects - same as above but working w all screen effect like the veteran yellow glow during ult or general corruption effects like demonhost screen torsion…
SortBrunt - its keeping similar item clustered together so in brunt list after helbor mk1 comes helbor mk2 and not the foking bolter…
animation_events - plugin for other mods
volleyfiretimer - numerical timer for volley fire so you squeeze more up time w revolves because you saw how much time you left if you have to reload… (+ w the heal bar you saw wich one is the weakest special if you ran out of trash shooters or you don’t have that feat : 3 )
debuff_indicator - show debbufs
true_level - calculate true lvl after lvl 30 my vet is lv 117 wich is not much
ScoreboardDamage - plugin for score board
PenanceDetails - self explanatory
SpawnFeed - shows how much elites / specials spawned… its like a revers kill feed
LoadoutMonitor - scoreboard plugin
Mark9 - swap mkXII to Mk12 so you can use the stuff searcher mod whiteout typing mkxii in it

crosshair_remap - for plasma
ItemSorting - you can sort vendors inventory at base item rating… it was in the beta but removed from the gam IDK why…
barter_at_once - tag item in your inventory sell w one click
better_buff_management - allows you to create costume hud elements and put selected weapon / blessing / character buff to display it when active
custom_hud - plugin
who_are_you - shows which player is from steam and winch one is not… so i can make executive decisions befor the match starts 
MyFavorites - tag your favorite weapons in your inventory so you cannot sold it by accident
which_book - shows on the mission screen which type of book the missions has as secondary objetive…
CustomFlames - blue zealot flamethrower
camera_freeflight - think i used once to check the perv area after an elevator ride where the fuk the team missed a script, but its for shits and gigels in the morning star like this

Most important mod is hub keys and skipping all the intro stuff and stuff searcher.
After that is basically score board and toggle interact.
Don’t use health bars because it’s kinda op but it’s also messy.
I got tons of other mods but they are all unessential.
If only fatshark just added all the QOL.

How is knowing npc health and knowing how much ammo you’re team has cheating Like OH NO guys the players are having way to much fun with the game playing modded, Better ban them all together wouldn’t want the playerbase seeing how bad the base game is after adding a few mods that make it 50x better with only a few lines of code

Those things need to be added into the official game. Fingers crossed that Fatshark takes notice of it and implements it, like they have in the past with other mods.
Fr once I tired a Qol mod pack from nexus there was no going back for me, Same thing goes for all my my friends I showed they said it made everything they didn’t like about base game just that much better that it was not a half bad game

Weapon customisation, height changer via Barber-Chirurgeon, enemy health bars and a numeric HUD are essentials for QoL.

Having everything in the menu so you don’t need to run across the map after every single match, Nothing better then getting new weapons then upgrading them and joining a new match with out even needing to move after ending a match or even just loading in the game

Best mod I know I asked the devs to make base game way back at the start after beta was full-auto/simi-auto guns like being able to shoot a lasgun or pistol with out needing to click every single shot, My hands don’t hurt at all anymore playing vet for 5 games in a row it’s great

At this point I consider the modders Discord to be an honorary extension to the Dev team (and I have a feeling Fatshark feels that way, too, considering they allow pretty much anything that doesn’t sabotage the gameplay).

That’s because they are.
The guidelines for mod creation outline that you’re essentially religated to making QoL mods exclusively.
And then there’s FS not doing any QoL changes at all. Quite the coincidence that, huh?
Whenever I try to remember if a QoL feature exists in vanilla DT, I always go “ah yeah, no, that’s a mod”.

FS can’t even make their own game run well, My one friend had long load times in till he modded the game and now he loads in faster then most of us it’s crazy what a few mods can do that fatshark can’t do with tons of updates “fixing” the game

You should try the mod that enables weapon customization, its realy cool and feels like it was a part of the game in the first place.
