Power level (ex: 380). I’m not sure of the exact number at which T4s start dropping though. T3s I’m confident are 300+.
Awesome thanks! I’ll guess it’s 360+…that’s what I’m going with lol ![]()
It’s Russian nesting dolls levels of RNG.
Even getting a 380 doesn’t mean you got a good base weapon to work with.
And that’s why RNG is garbage. Never seen higher Blessing than T2 on Blue.
The drop rates have been greatly improved over what they used to be, but I feel like that happened months ago. If you upgrade a 300+ to blue today, you’ll pull T3s often.
Well, I didn’t pull TIV at all from blue or purple, TIII maybe but none I wanted anyway. Sadly that’s RNG. Even if they improved drop rate - that’s still just statistic. There is no guarantee since it’s RNG.
But you said you’ve never seen higher than a T2 on blue…
Because I don’t remember (that’s why I said maybe above). Even if it did, I was upgrading further to try my chance to get what I wanted. Sadly I didn’t get Blessings I wanted.
At some point you just go upgrade upgarde upgrade. None? Again. I was just doing it to see Blessings X. No Blessing X, move along. At some point it’s just brainless clicking
The problem with addressing the crafting system is that they either copy/paste VT2’s system or copy someone else’s. It’s really hard to be original with your own crafting system these days since there is now so many base styles. Creating one from scratch takes time and is complicated.
Orange items have a higher chance of getting t4 blessings. Its been that way for awhile.
As a point I think this highlights why the crafting system sucks so bad.
There is 0 clear aspects to it and even if someone thinks they have a grasp on the system a new thing usually blindsides them entirely.
On top of this the the system will get progressively worse the more items are added so if you didn’t farm the weapon you wanted to farm for the blessings you wanted then good luck getting thrust on a hammer when 2-3 variants of shovels are clogging up Malk’s shop.
Honestly just give me a real tangible number I need to get to exchange for the thing I want, don’t make me jump through 50 hoops for something I’m probably going to use once before it gets nerfed into the floor.
That’s pretty much all I want.
Your point stands, the smaller the item pool the easy it is to get what You’re after. The more it starts being deluged with items the worse it becomes. It’s why power cycler was so hard to get in the beginning.
Yes…and no one argued otherwise. But the cost to go orange for a weapon with no use but to farm a T4 isn’t worth it.
Plasteel is too precious. Ordo dockets are easier to come by. Spend the ordos, get high level weapons, go to blue, win.
Hi guys, remember the thing I said was going to happen?
You don’t need to be original. Just be effective. Less is more.
Makes me disinterested, honestly.
I’d much rather now see a stream, or an 8 min. sum-up vid on YT, note what’s new and feel like I’ve kept up, rather than go through… that, again.
I also have this other image in my head - FS introducing something actually new and remarkable, and me liking the idea… and dumping what I’ve saved up, getting something decent, using it for a few days, and then feeling like I’m done with the game again…
Should I say it again? I’ll say it again - BreakTheLocks so we can have something to do, craft around and make builds around while waiting for more “new” stuff!

It’s insufferable to love a game / IP so much as this one but only to be ignored and not even viewed as people, but a $ instead.
How many dollars have you spent on plasteel, my poor guy?
I’ve already spent a few hundred $ on the game shop as I like to support the game but with the expectation it would get better, and some things have, but like so many in the other thread that have quit the game because of the crafting wall, it’s the sole mechanic in this game that has already made me quit once. I came back for the big change which has been great until you get to the crafting wall again. So yes, that “plasteel” has cost me plenty of time and money invested.
Yes, it needs to be stated again. The locks are awful. Just remove them. Its bad enough that we spend millions of dockets looking for a weapon with the proper stat distribution. Only for it to get a bricked perk and bricked blessing. At least limit the lock to a single lock. That way we can change 3 things instead of only 2.
