Although not brand new maps, at least we are getting some maps, and that’s nice.
I’m fine with paying for some really cool unique looking cosmetics, I don’t have a problem with that - as long as those cosmetics are truly unique and exceptional in design.
Regarding free cosmetics… I trully hope that you won’t just recolor the existing ones, but that there will be at least a couple of completely new ones that will be FREE.
Well, we probably can help with. So FS no longer fails with their selling plans we have to suggest cancel VERSUS mode, cause most likely it is going to fail as hard as WoM did. FS guys, you are small studio, you have to patch this game for 3 platforms.
This is great news and im looking forward to some of them but I really hope you guys/ladies at fatshark will address some of the issues with combat that im sure you already are aware of since i’ve seen people post them here on the forum because it can make the game very exhausting/tilting to play at times.
From what I took of the announcement, it seems the maps will be reworks? It said that we’re going back there because of something?
“Something appears to have taken a liking to the castle and our heroes have to once again visit the castle to learn more about what’s happening”
oh boy, I hope there’s a boss fight. Obviously, if it’s Mannfred or Vlad, we’re all dead anyway. But how cool would it be to fight a Grave Guard, or a Crypt Horror or even a Varghulf.
None the less, I think/hope the maps will be switched around a bit, new routes and what not.
Dropping versus mode would not automatically mean things will suddenly, magically be grand on all other fronts. If they do it right they could drawn in the PvPers (like L4D did), and people who want to play as skaven.
FS invested time into reworking combat balance, which, whether you wanted it or not, was generally badly received based on beta polling (and now reflected in reviews), and then pushed it through anyway, versus mode or not they were evidently going to do that either way.
Actually they did mention mods getting a full rework, doing away with the sanctioned mod waves and evaluating mods one by one to make the process faster.
