personally, i believe that the game would be improved if we had a private fireteam room after we reached TL30. 4 bunks, a mission terminal, a table, a penance station, you know, small versions of the stuff that we already have along with some extra stuff that we keep in our barracks rooms like dressers and the such. we should also be able to decorate them with free stuff we get from penances and some things that we get from paying real money.
Pretty much what I hoped we would get so we could bypass the hub/mourningstar and use the shops, select missions and so on from the operative select screen. Atleast until they add more things to do in the hub.
We might go from the fresh-off-the-prison-ship open bay barracks to the we’re-big-kids-now open bay barracks but I doubt anyone but Rannick and his closest retinue get staterooms. That sort of opulence really isn’t for rank-and-filers like us anyway.
I disagree. Judging from the penances and season pass reward descriptions, it seems like we do begin garner a significant level of respect within the warband, eventually becoming trusted auric-level operatives who routinely clean-sweep even the nastiest of heretic-held areas.
Even the most BLAMmable operatives (Loose Cannon Veteran being a klepto and desertion enjoyer, and Loner Psyker despising the Imperial Cult and overall being a huge prick) Get It Done™, so even if we assume the worst, Rannick and the Inquisitor are pragmatic men. If you’re a valuable asset, you’ll be kept alive - maybe treated better than others to keep you loyal. I think having our own little private room would make sense in this manner.
