Why is the targeting on "Disrupt Destiny" so restricted?

What it targets

  • Non-Ogryn Elites

  • Shooters

What it does NOT target

  • Poxwalkers and Groaners

  • Bruisers

  • Any Specialists

  • Any Ogryn

This makes building and maintaining stacks of it incredibly obnoxious. I spend half of a map with no stack because I have to hope that map generation gives me enough targetable enemies, wait for the Keystone to actually target them, sometimes having to look around for the enemy that it targeted, then pray that my team doesn’t kill them before I do.

Even with the modifier to double its stack duration, they are too difficult to maintain to be worth the effort.

And now you know why it’s called Disrupt Destiny. :3
I agree though, it should only have Ogryns and monsters as exception.

It also needs to re-prioritise better. Either more often, or make it prioritise targets nearer or in front of you more

personally i feel they shoud be abit more like warp charges.
as in they:

  1. degrade one at a time(saving you issues of losing all at once)
  2. have a large bonus but less in Max Stats(2% Damage, 4% Weak, 5% Crit, but only 7Max Stack)
  3. have 2 targets chosen(both within 20m as to give options wail also some cover on team kills)

i have a topic covering it (Make Disrupt Destiny More Like Warp Charges?)

I have a better question, why isn’t it marking ANYBODY AT ALL? No matter what I do or how I look at it, all my testing leads me to believe the keystone is just broken rn. I’m not getting any marks, bonuses, or stacks of any kind. I’ve stood next to every type of enemy and none of them are marked, and when killing a bunch at once, I get nothing at all. Wtf is going on…

I feel like the fact that it highlights only shooters and elites is great with the Voidstrike build.

It’s like a mini Volley Fire that lets you know where those pesky few shooters are hiding. Also feels like a personal minigame. Really cool.

While the idea of stacks falling one-by-one is cool, this thing provides such a high damage boost that it would be incredibly OP if you could just maintain it at high stack constantly. Not like psyker doesn’t have some insane modifiers to begin with, but still.
