Pretty sure the profile of a TH and PF are the same on tabletop so it’d probably basically just be Ironhelm 2 veteran boogaloo

It never had anything to do with balance everyone knows it. People just jealous of vets feats weapons and damage and whinged about it constantly until fat shark nerfed it lol

Now you got that done you want to add power weapons of your own. Why didn’t you just ask for that in the first place before you complained about the vet having a power sword hmm?

They could’ve given every class its power weapon alternative instead of ruining vets.

Power sword is still strong but activating it for every swing is not fun, there’s a difference. Power cycler exacerbates the issues especially between the haves and have-nots.

pft yeh too bad if I had seen what this dev team was like wouldn’t touch it with a barge pole. Mistake I wont make again.

This game isn’t a 40k game. It’s a bait and switch. They scuffed it so hard its a joke and the more they “balance” 40k weapons in line with latrine shovels the worse its going to look.

Its an early access title released at full price full of bugs and performance issues trying to piggy back a niche and unpopular genre onto someone else’s far more popular ip. People from vermin tide call them “tide games” LOL nobody’s ever heard of them. They are not a thing people brought this game because of the warhammer40k logo.

Its not just the nerf to power sword that was just the final straw. These people have been F’ing this whole thing up for ages and continue to do so.

Don’t forget to buy your skins when they start releasing them again lol

Your list of wanted weapons should read more like tools you find in a garden shed or a hardware store for this game.

Well, I have a copy of 4th and 5th ed BRBs and the 5th Ed BRB gave stats profiles for common weapons, regardless of the user. I can’t think of any human scale table top models with thunder hammers but the statsline in 5th ed (leaving out the universal special rules intended to add flavor) was:

Power Weapons:
Thunder Hammer S x2, AP 2
Power Fist S x2, Ap 2
Lightening Claws S user, AP3
Power Sword S user, Ap3
Power Axe S +1, AP 2
Power Maul S+2, AP4
Power Lance S +1/User, AP 3/4 (second profile if not charging).

The only difference between Power Fists and Thunder hammers was TH has “Concussive” and PF doesn’t.

Chain weapons:
Eviscerator S x2 Ap 2
Heavy Chainsword S +2 AP5
Chainsword S user, AP -
Chainfist S x2 Ap2

Force Weapons:
Fore Sword S User, AP3
Force Axe, S +1, Ap2
Force Stave S+2, AP4
(+ magic brain blast attacks)

I feel like the evi we have is more of a heavy chainsword than an eviscerator TBH.
Also the Force Stave special attack clearly needs to do a lot more melee damage.

We could also look to the Rouge Trader/Dark Heresy splats from back in the day and those largely reflect that Thunder Hammers and Power Fists are pretty close together on the scale of damage. I know different rules have varried things a bit in different versions. But the trend is there.

the Melta gun and the Long-las while datamined arn’t in the game we don’t know how it will work, but we know what was shown in the datamined Insignia’s i didn’t see a scope on the weapon icoin all i saw was a Longer Barrel Kantrael/Accatran lasgun.
the power-fist should be a weapon, in the game, is a common item for Commanders and Sergeants.
the command rod is because why not i think it will be a good weapon that while it is a melee weapon it can impose a buff to it allies. that isn’t attached directly to the character abilites.
thowning knife as a general weapon i see it as a fun item, you can make it as a fun Grenade option or a Fun secondary option.

Thunder hammers can be used by human’s there are human sizes. look at the inqustion models. it can be equipped with a thunderhammer without being equipped within Power armour. same as Powerfist. OW & DH both have the weapon listed as possible weapon for PC without the need for Power armour. on the otherhand Powerfist can be used unpowered and become a large metal glove.

Weapon above while not the most important item on fatshark list, i would agree with @Ralendil oppion that games need more maps, Modes and missions and ofc subclass, i would think that one could implment maybe 3-5 additional classes to each class over the period of time. and maybe 2 additional archtypes:

Veteran:
Brawler: Melee focused special weapons like Powered axes, Fists and spear and Brass dusters. increases damage in melee but isn’t a combat monster like the zealot able to deal out more damage then it takes.
Stormtrooper (Grenadier/Kasrkin/Scion) - uses most special weapons like HS(hellguns, see above), and Plasmagun with a specialized range weapon being the Hotshot Marksman rifle (most recently released with the Kasrkin Killteam).
Veteran Commander/Sergeant or Commissar- duelling weapons like Pistol and Melee weapon Combos. would be hist kind of special weapon, i would probable base this classes around buffing/supporting other characters.

Zealot:
Disgraced Deathclutist: Elite Killer
Crusader: Tank equipped with Stormshield no Ranged strictly melee only
Sister Hospitaller = Field Chirurgeon: around healing or buffing.
Dialogus = preacher: buffing character uses words to dispel enemies stunning them ect

Ogyrn:
ogyrn kind of difficult as it classes a kind of limited as they have released a weird mish-mash of a body guard style classes and a smasher Class. and lastly a gunlugger
don’t quite know which which type of weapon they drop in like Autocannons or heavy bolters, i wouldn’t think they would add in Plasmacannon, Lascannon, Multi-lasers Multimelta as ogyrn are weapon kind of need to be robost and can be used a a Improvised Club. also ammunition requirements kind of make them infeasible to uses. as there no spacemarines and i don’t think the Inquisition going to invest in Powered armoured Ogyrns.

final the Psyker, there kind of limited his “Spells” which makes playing with them kind of Painful to play, where is my Emperor’s Gaze, Confusion, Telekine Dome, Inferno and Vortex of DOOM!!! with we are going with the Sub-class ideal a Astropath or a Radical Psyker like there Special ability. is Turning into a Daemon host temporary for like 15 secounds.

Adeptus Arbities
Disgraced/Discharged Arbiters: shotgun specialist increasing the type variety of the guns and ammunition. around catching mark enemies.
Subjugator: suppression shield and shock baton,
Robodog handler: ability to send your judge dread dog after heretics has standard Arbities gear. Biltz is RoboDog, and F increases dog’s Stats.
adeptus Mechanicus
Skitarri Rangers: elite killers with Critical spot highlight
Skitarri Vanguard: AOE of Damage over time as a spread of radiation and F ability Increase it or reducing armour protection.
Infiltrator or Rust Stalkers: melee suppression class.
initiate Techiest: around technology class.

speaking on different uses, where is the enemies psykers. i would like to see enemies throwing death hexs and Psychic spells at us Rejects.

please can we have more technological puzzles like Dials, Timers and other things that engage with the arcane of 40k.

thoughts for a some new modes :
Etraction of Assets (Vip, Material, Datas)
Capture of VIP
Counter Boarding (defend the Morning star)
Boarding enemies ships aim to destroying it)

The Power fist should be a weapon, but not alone, as usually it’s a side weapon, like Catachan Sword&Power Fist; Duel Sword&Power Fist; Laspistol&Power Fist…

Special attack to activate the Grenade, which explode on the next hit, and then need to be reloaded
Variant for:

  • Inferno: Fire Damage
  • Shock: Electric Damage
  • Krak: Anti Armour Damage

Lore has Crusader houses who allow ranged weapons, the Crusader shouldn’t have a big ranged weapon selection, like only Shotguns, the Pistols, the Autogun and nothing more, but they still should have them.

Multi-Laser are known to be used by Ogryn, Lascannon could be introduced by being similar to the Multilaser.


Honestly, an Enforcer (More appropriate than Arbites) should become a Zealot Class rather than a new Archetype. Being more about close ranged, elite hunter (Getting buff against pinged target, maybe GK’s quest system where it get stuff from accomplishing quests)
And the Cyber Mastiff would be very much sweet


For the Admech classes, it’s the most requested but it shouldn’t just be Skitarii, but more broad classes to get a better panel of weapons


Could even have us fortify on the current maps, there are good places that would work quite well as a Horde/Hold the Line place.

For new missions types I’d like to see:

  • Dreg Assassination: With a Dreg Sorcerer Lord (Plague Sword or Scythe, 1 of 2 Psyker/Sorcerer Spells, new defensive mechanic)
  • Sabotage and Ritual: Having us go and plant explosives or interrupt a Psyker Ritual like Empire at Flame, Hunger in the Dark or Convocation of Decay
  • Artefact: Payday Inspired: We need to drill into a Safe to get a (Chaos) Artefact (Or multiple) and then carry it to our get away, this safe would be in a heavily fortified (Either by the Chaos factions or even before they took control of the area) place like
    Sector->Any, but Throneside and Chasm would work best
