Wanted weapons

They literally should. 100%. They should do this tomorrow. Just literally copy and paste it straight and give it a bodysuit cosmetic and call it a day. INCLUDING a crossbow.

I think everybody has seen youā€™re upsetā€¦ go outside, shout, punch something, play something else, do some sportā€¦
but if you suffer so much, you should make a break.

PS is yet the most powerful weapon of the gameā€¦ yes a TH can kill in one shot a crusher (with right cicunstances), but the TH is bad at crowd control. Yes a combat axe has better mobility, but the PS can kill faster an horde. Yes the PS need an activation of the special really often, but as you can wipe nearly everything with itā€¦
Even without PC, it is a great weapon.

I canā€™t see how you can consider that the PS is no more a great weaponā€¦ except if you decided to not play with it.

About balanceā€¦ yes it is important. It permits that we can use every weapon at every difficulty and not that everybody use same weapons at the highest difficulties.
This doesnā€™t mean that all weapons have to act the same. When I see my PS cuting in two parts lot of groaners, I feel that this weapon is a powerful one and that it is different than a shovel.

So you want iconic 40k weapons to all come with huge drawbacks to balance their power and you think thats fun

Steam says I have played it 20 hours.

I think it is in the top games of the less played in my steam library.

What kind of dev team gets the license for a Warhammer 40k game and chooses to balance the weapons around a latrine shovel. If I hadnā€™t seen it myself I wouldnā€™t believe it.

I hope they do add his list it would be a real laugh to see it in this game.

Huge? Who said huge? I said balancing drawbacks. Is the Boltgun in a good place? How about plasma? (Imo its still doing too little damage).

Thunder Hammer has drawbacks, but you said earlier:

It has a self stun on powered hits and is largely used unpowered. It has poor to no cleave on powered swings. Its slow and kinda clunky to use. All perfectly fine things. Frankly a power fist would be practically the same weapon with a different swing pattern and shorter melee range. So thatā€™s really easy to balance actually.

Donā€™t eat seed oils bro. But since yer liftan iā€™m sure you already are up to date on food science.

Fact is you cant have it both ways this game is scuffed for that reason the drawbacks make the weapons feel un fun to play so wtf is the point in them even being in the game.

You must have a deep seated desire for a snikers since I directed that comment at the guy who said it to me. Donā€™t give in! fight that flab ā€œbroā€

Condemnor boltguns are super cool and i hope they get added for a zealot class. I mean literal crossbows.

The Powerfist shouldnā€™t come on its own, tbh.
But rather be relegued to the special attack of other weapons. And have it work with different attacks that can be charged or uncharged.

Franklyā€¦ I tested this gun the last two days. First game was a big laugh. Did the worst damage output of the team. I was not really an help for it.
Nowā€¦ well I do lot of damages with it. And I talk here about damnation+ (I know several think it is really important).
I am not sure that this weapon need a buff when I see how it can wipe pretty anything.

It feel unfun for a minority, youā€™re not the majority here, and even in the Vet groups they still play with the Power Sword, because itā€™s still very good.

Absolutely cringe take.
Thunder hammer is very fun to play.
The power maul needs work.
The power sword needs work.
The chain weapon specials have tons of drawbacks but are fun to use and feel good. The rest of the attacks need work though.

I wrote a whole thread on how FS isnā€™t doing melee 40k weapons justice so its not like i love everything they are doing but thats all within range of possible and thunder hammer proves it.

Wrong. EVERYONE says the ruined it with the balance patch even people who wanted a nerf. I can still use it and do use it but that does not change the fact they Fā€™d it up because people like you cried about it being op compared to your shovel.

Now you want to add a power fist and I want to see how you plan to balance that against your shovel.

Nobody uses them at damnationā€¦ if they do they are normally a scrub who goes down constantly and leaves.

The chain weapons needed a buff or a complete change in the way they work since release.

Thunder hammer had nothing but QQ and they have been trying to fix it ever sinceā€¦ its better now but still not great. power maul still out classes by the knife etcetc

Games balance is still completely fā€™d all they did was ruin some of the better weapons.
