No, clear info about repair plan is enough. For now we have only “this things take time” and radio silence. Apart from all collected feedback and the time that has elapsed since him. In general, it looks like all feedback from the beta didn’t make the slightest sense.
There have been very few attempts at fixing the core of the combat though. I can’t fathom why enemies have increased attack speed and damage now. Increased hero power for us (you could have spared the bother) means we have more cleave, stagger and damage, I get that. But it doesn’t make us faster or more resilient.
Communication-wise all I can hear is weaves weaves, seasons. No thoughts outside that. Balance-wise there seems to be a big denial: most stable release yet etc, like there are currently no problems with the game, so yeah, hearing something about your plans regarding the core of the game would be illuminating.
@Fatshark_Hedge
Speaking about 2 second fixes: shouldn’t be too hard to let us host weaves and cata to our friends. I still do not know why you changed your policy like that.
guys, speak with ur wallet!
if u dont like it dont spend money.
i didn’t like the dlc so i didnt buy it. (but i probably will when its on sale for 5 bucks :p)
u guys could also publicly declare that fatshark is banned from making money from you :O!
Legend with unchained seems slightly easier, enemies seem a bit slower, cleave seems to work slightly better on daggers. Flail, firesword. Maybe a result of sl the changes, had to be a small difference like 5% or so. Maybe I just got better by not playing for a few days? Maybe it’s host lag or input delay not being present today vs a few days ago with those hosts?
Exactly. Just a massive waste of dev time. The only justification I can think of is they thought “raised level cap” on the WoM description would help drive sales. But really that’s dishonest, because the level cap & talents overhaul are part of 2.0, not part of WoM.
We won’t see any of that telemetry, because that would probably be too embarrassing. If it wasn’t, it wouldn’t hurt to show it.
Once again, we’re supposed to be patient. And I would be.
If I wouldn’t have to wait for bugfixes that resurface EVERY time a MAJOR game update comes up. How do you fix something that comes back not just once, but at least 3-4 times since game launch?
Just how much more patience am I supposed to show and for HOW LONG???
never experienced this and i have played vt2 for an embarrassingly long time (1579 hours atm) the only thing that gets through block is certain boss swings, special enemies and arrows.
beastmen have the pink-skin enemies that have long spears, they attack from behind the sword wielding gors in a horde. when you push enemies, you aren’t blocking, and can get hit in that window of time.
It would also appear that these gors have longer reach with their spears than your weapon push, thus if you push enemies in front of you and they are standing far enough, they won’t be affected by the push and still be able to reach you wit the spear, basically getting a free stab at you.
I’ve experienced this from all factions and rat ogre on blockable hits, on bell and after I died another person had the same thing happen too, was really prevalent for me on many maps, it hasn’t happened the past few games
I had a sinking realization, with the weave “seasons” in play, there is a good chance that we won’t get a big 2.1 patch that (attempts) to address the majority of concerns because they might not want to change the balance and leaderboard “mid-season.”
This would be of course a completely ridiculous reason for not pushing out changes as soon as possible. But then again, in this particular timeline FS doesn’t seem to be making the best decisions for the future of the game. I could see this argument being used as reason to try and ‘wait it out’ on their end.
