Skulls with blue hair to show appreciation for your weapon wishlist and your Mourningstar Memorial thread.
Currently watching that with my friend at the moment.
There is plenty of really good anime out there, the problem is there is a lot of rubbish. And people think that all anime is like Pokemon and it’s not.
It’s just another medium in which to tell a story.
It’s been a decade since I last watched Ergo Proxy but if I remember right it dealt with themes of the Self and all the existential dread that comes from that. I need to rewatch it some time later. It’s a very philosophical show.
Interesting. I personally like Asuka because she is a very, very, flawed person with some serious mental issues that arise from how she copes with her situation in Evangelion - granted all the characters on the show are all suffering some psychological disorder and or PTSD. Anyways, in some ways I find her relatable because I myself had problems coping with leukemia, the treatment, and the aftermath of it all.
You’d have no shortage considering the recent surge in Khorne_Dawg profile picture copycats
I tend to change the Portal testing icons I use as my avatar as the mood takes me.
You mean that your profile picture has been changing right before my very eyes and yet I have failed to notice? Tzeentch would be proud.
This one shifted about 2 pixels to the left, because I couldn’t find my saved icons and had to make new ones.
the problem is that 90% of anime likes to tell its story in exposition
Eh, I’ve had the opposite experience, 90% of animes I’ve watched become power fantasies or harems or the main character banging every chick left right center. It’s hard to find a good, mature, interesting, anime that doesn’t devolve into some weird power fantasy that is made for pre-teens.
well, that too
Makes me think of when people call a Scotsman English
Or say “wheres scotchland? is that in England?”
Im genuinely impressed. Its a fkin great picture btw!
Yknow, youre kinda cute dude! (I have a lady tyvm, just so noone else thinks Im hitting on ya )
Oh yeah, Ergo Proxy was so cool. I remember watching that ages ago. I also remember being very confused a lot but the visuals and atmosphere were to die for.
Thank you, sir!
Without Scotland, Great Britain would still only be Britain
My grandfather’s a Scotsman and I know a fair bit about Scotland because of that. For example, the entire play of Macbeth is a lie… and I say that as a direct descendant of King Duncan I himself. In reality, King Macbeth earned the title by defeating King Duncan I in honourable battle.
Yeah, @Jarek 's very talented with his profile pictures… most of them genuinely look like they’d belong in official 40K promotional art.
Oh, you old dog! You’re making an old widower blush! Cherish your lady, sweetheart.
Oh I do, she is a gem and far saner than I.
I thought it was from Mass Effect. Cant really convey how impressed I am @Jarek
You probably know more than I do!
Although my lady does tour guiding and she is quite well versed in history. Im just a troglodyte. I sit in a dark room, make strange noises and play with myself.
That’s the most normal thing to ever occur in Янтарь.
Does anyone else think that the Secrets of the Machine God map is giving Karak Azgaraz?
To be fair I feel the same about most media in general for live action movies and TV shows as well. You really have to dig deep into things like indie productions or rare gems to find things that break the exceptions.
I buy a hard copy of every single TV show and movie I have ever really liked… It all fits on one small shelf from IKEA.
You mean he didn’t get a prophecy from 3 random witches in the forest?
