And you can do that, but why do you need a scoreboard at the end telling you that you avoided damage? You literally tried to avoid it the whole run through. The scoreboard showing me the number didnt help me get better, the fact that i did it during a run made me get better.
There are very few stats shown on the scoreboard that are shown in detail and lets forget for a minute that Vermintides scoreboard had huge problems showing stuff properly for a very long time. Still, that stuff is just a confirmation about what you did in the game and you should be aware of what you are doing in the game.
I dont care about the existence of a scoreboard, because its pointless. You can have one. What i do here is asking you why do you even want a scoreboard and right now all of your reasons tell me that you are self-conscious and need the game to tell you that you did good.
First off. I dont think you know what Self-conscious means. You keep trying to twist ALL the points in favor of having a scorboard into some sort of negative light by saying ones desire to feel a sense of accomplishment is bad. Completly glossing over that self-conscious isnt inherently a negative trait.
If you are going to comment, at least read the other ones and address what people have said. Simply didmissing every point and telling them they are just self-conscious is rather poor form.
Then tell me that you need the scoreboard to feel good. Thats all i want. Its a legitimate reason, but i want you to say it out loud and dont cover it with weak explanations about how the scoreboard is helping.
Seriously? My guy. Read the comments. The answer is in them. If you choose not to acknowledge them, or outright dismiss, than you are willfully ignorant.
If you read them, and twist the words like you are to mean, "i am self-conscious and need constant validation. "
Well that is trolling at best, and outright maliciously argumentative at worst.
This, I think that during my ~300 hours on VT2 I may have encountered a single toxic player who used scoreboard numbers to crap on people.
OP is claiming that the scoreboard was insufficient as a precision instrument for tuning builds when it was more like a car thermostat for checking if it was really as cold this morning as you thought when stepping outside. Feeling like you had a superb mission and then going to the end and seeing that you netted the biggest number in some category would just sweeten it and now nobody gets that all for the fear of this kerillian sweatlord bogeyman who will get all the green circles and negatively effect your self-esteem somehow.
Oh man. I could do this all the way to release, and then spend my time playing the game. There are 50+ comments on this thread. I would encourge you to actually read them.
I’m not sure what your crusading for here. But currently, it looks like you are here just to cause trouble.
There can be +100 comments for what i care, it doesnt matter when most of them say the same pointless stuff.
Again, none of you came up with a proper reason. Only because you think there are proper reasons doesnt mean they are actually proper. So no reason for a scoreboard to exist.
Again, i do not care about the scoreboard because the scoreboard doesnt matter.
So i dont have a reason for it to exist or to be gone. From my end, you can have one. I am just here asking you why do you even want one in the first place and none of you came up with proper reasons.
wanting exact numbers on weapon strength, enemies and talents for planning a build on paper is not mutually exclusive with wanting a scoreboard. idk if a kerillian player killed your son or something but you’re stretching pretty hard with this comment
Ah so you are being a Devils Advocate. Or as we call them nowadays. Trolls. You dont want to actually put forward ideas or find an agreement or even hear someones side. You just want people to make their statements, so you can then tell them its not a good reason, and dismiss it.
Honestly it makes you a toxic person in the community.
We have explained reasons to keep it. Your analogy is a very poor one. But i see where you were trying to go with it.
The difference is, there is a street there( the game) You are arguing we should remove the street sign(scoreboard) because people dont need to know the name of the street in order to drive on it, or know its there.
No, i am here asking you why you want a scoreboard and if you had proper reasons then i would openly support you to get a scoreboard. You dont have proper reasons though.
I’m replying to your comment where you said that creed should want detailed stats on weapons and enemies instead of a scoreboard if they want to make builds. I was pointing out you can want both for somewhat different reasons. Maybe the reason people aren’t engaging with you is that you started this out by accusing him of being self-conscious and arguing in bad faith.
Before you accuse me of the same I’ll preemtively say that yes, I am the kerillian main who took the green circles because I thought it was a fun game-within-a-game to try and flex on everyone.
