That good for the crosshairs. Their negative space crosshairs for revolver and plasma gun sucks so much.
Selected new mission finished T5 on first try with randoms.
-
At the start very narrow tunnels, most narrow Iāve seen and it jams with hordes and heavies. Means no room at all for dodge/evasion. It is brute force though.
-
Fighting in semi circle room and spawns 180 around.
-
Uphill battle segment, which means your forward momentum and movement affected heavily. Steep incline whilst facing gunners which are very far away and youāre in the open. Little to no cover, fish in a barrel.
-
Not interactable - But there is a nice monorail train ride to see scenery through transparent glass. Felt like a relaxation segment because the transport time was longer than say a quick elevator up or down.
-
Final fight circular room has slots in middle pole and the outside most perimeter has the batteries - spread out 360 in these cargo containers. Very large area. It was very messy, everyone running in different directions - If played better should of moved as a team death ball around perimeter to collect batteries one by one for escort.
-
Once done you move downstairs for short battle underneath where middle pole was, then exit to ledge very nearby to extraction.
Even though 25 min - Did feel short in length. TBH we were exploring areas out of curiosity alot as well as there were few side paths that actually led to containers and not just empty space.
Glad itās on the shorter side to be honest. I liked the 2nd mercantile map, but man it is a long one.
Trying to get the new weapons is like pulling teeth. I see why they wanted the itemization update out with these weapons.
Compounded with the server issues made this morning a pretty miserable experience overall. Hoping both my luck and the servers are better this evening.
I am looking forward to the day I can complete my transition from forum user, to lurker, to ghost. The complete evolution.
Not all heroes wear capes. Itās someone who snowballed this thread for 2 years.
Guess the FAQ about the locks wonāt be needed in few months once unlocked. Finally got we wanted, along with some weapon grind coming unfortunately. Canāt win it all I guess.
Frankly Iāve had enough monkey paws from Fatshark that Iām going to be cautious about if this is what we wanted.
One step forward, two steps back.
If anyone deserves that title itās himā¦ I donāt really know who our community heroes are. Honestly, no karking clue. They just showed up one day without any previous noteworthy participation in the forums previous.
Fatshark considers the Discord the real community. Both are active there.
Iād agree the brosgw deserves the title. So does Khorne_Dawg for their work.
Oā¦ I had no idea we were the backwater planet.
The Sienna main deserves her title from her work in the Vermintide community prior to working with Fatshark as well as her tumultuous tenure in Fatshark during Darktideās catastrophic release - she gritted through a lot despite all the crap we put her through. As for the others? No clue. At least in the Vermintide subforum I remember a few names that got the āCommunity Heroā title.
Honestly, in thinking about it thatās kinda crummy.
There have been TONS of really good posts that have offered up meaty solutions and suggestions. Sucks to think theyāve not been heard.
Discord isnāt a place to write out w detailed post describing an issue or a solution.
Hell, reddit/twitter isnāt even since thatās just a place to upvote videos of someone clutching or doing something neat.
Honestly thereās a lot of people who are pretty regularly active I would give candidacy for it. I donāt know what rubric and criterion they have for it. We are the dissidents after all. We canāt be heroes.
Maybe we should get a new tag. Community āAnti-Heroesā (not to be mistaken for villains).
Hmmā¦ when it comes to titles Iād like āNon-hostile, Hive cohabitant Groxdung-Posterā.
Is that too much to ask?
New article that has some crafting details which is interesting.
Theoretically, could you take one of the common weapons you start with and upgrade it all the way to a maxed-out endgame weapon?
Yes, exactly. Even the starting weapons could be something you can invest in and actually get them to the maximum potential. If you like the way the weapon or the stat distribution, thatās something you could do. Thatās really what we wanted to do as well. No weapon is a waste.
There is a way for us to dispose of a weapon as well. I didnāt talk about it because itās a bit of a detail, but you will be able to salvage a weapon for crafting materials. So even if thereās a weapon given to you and youāre like, Iām not interested, you will always find an actually good way to use this weapon for you to actually be useful in your progression.
I should have mentioned it. So yeah, the starting weapons, you can put them at the max. You will have access to the best blessing and since it would be full open, you could build it the way you want.
So weapon salvaging will apparently be a thing and you can upgrade even a starting weapon to max? Interesting i guess.
I wonder if this is the-same-as- or post-3DJuegos WIP stuff.
Just going to stick to one anti-unyielding/carapace build per class and call it a day. Then update those builds as and when updates re-balance existing or add new weapons.
Expertise - OK spend plasteel. Then now itās this Mastery thing alongside - Depends on mastery requirement of ātimeā involved for one weapon.
Layer upon layer of grind. Too early to say anything - But get the feeling mastery wonāt be a quick thing.
It seems updated and i donāt think itās been taken down or mentioned if itās old news, it also directly references the new update so donāt know.
darn all those weapons I sold for 0 dockets just to keep my inventory clean.
We need an archive place for trash weapons to turn into plasteel later. Going to keep every single one now after each mission
Hold off on crafting lads - Stock it up for expertise costs incoming in few months.
