Oh yeah new rotations. Looks like it’s more than helmets now, they’re selling full on skin bundles.
they’ve been supposedly working on an overhaul to curios for over a year now. It might get released as part of a much greater crafting/progression overhaul, I imagine with the introduction of ‘red’ tier weapon upgrades. It’s frankly quite ridiculous that they didn’t ship the last overhaul with ‘reds’. Their current design is so very very strange.
Perk and Blessing system rework would be a huge breath of fresh air
Ane quotes from the devs to back that statement up?
I can’t remember if they said anything else about it, but I found this:
ah, exactly what i was looking for.
so yes, fatshark is apparently working on this. it’s just that their time scale is rather… different.
yar, thar be it
Okay the new classes not getting new store cosmetics isn’t a gw thing
Like for arbities like I could understand it because they have a very distinct look but hive gangers have that much existing material to work from and a whole hold heap of creative liberty you could have with them.
But for what ever reason store cosmetics for new classes are just going to be a one and done thing.
The decisions this company makes always just dumbfound me oh hey we just released this new class which as a plethora of existing material in the setting to work with to sell to people should we like take advantage of that, no.
No they’re just on their long winter break I think it may be a Swedish thing? or just Fatshark happens every year… was a big issue with fail launch also being in December @.@ Seems like Julia only one holding down the fort =p
Minor bug report update, but honestly I’ve stepped back from the game.
How do we feel about the bundled cosmetics showing up in the shop with multiple color options? Is that enough to assuage the FOMO complaints? IIRC a good portion of that was fueled by hatred of color swaps specifically.
as i said a few times, it’s the reason why we can’t color our drip ourselves.
I gave this some thought, and imo no. FOMO goes beyond “of the extremely (and arbitrarily and unnecessarily) limited selection we choose to display this rotation, you may have a few additional colours”.
It only helps display more items which would have otherwise been sold separately (therefore consuming an additional shop slot) but the fundamental issue remains.
That said – are they charging extra for each colour or is it included in the initial purchase?
Extra. They’re charging for each colour as if it is its own thing. While you can buy them separately, some colours only appear on similar but different versions of a cosmetic, and some colours (like the original colour schemes) aren’t available for the bundled cosmetics.
sigh
Is the Backfill issue in here as a grudge yet? Because this needs to be added.
Isn’t that recen-

Oh my karking Emperor.
Yeah, I need to round up some threads about this.
It’s a cheap (for them!) way to pack extra fluff into the shop and is quite cheeky IMO.
I still believe we should pay for the mesh then Melk should become a spray shop where you use melk bucks to create recoloured copies of your already-owned gear.
Imagine if the only way to recolour your gear was to play the game and earn melk bucks? Seems like an obvious retention hook that actually makes sense. You want premium camo patterns on your helmet? That will cost more melk bucks so get playing those contracts! ![]()
Being able to cosplay and paint your ‘miniatures’ that you spent money on would feel very gratifying.
depends on what earns them more: getting more players through options like self-coloring, or directly sellings recolors in the shop.
and whatever weird rules gw brings i guess. if they say a cadian guardsman can be only green, you can’t make him blue.
