Spidey Sense mod is a ridiculous obvious cheat mod

My recent duos have had my mate and I kill 120 disablers and 135 specials each. (average)

Of course, when you blitz through with a good team under 20 minutes, AI director doesn’t have enough time to throw the fridge and the sink at you.

Edit: looking back at receipt, 350/400 is more common, on the average time we take as 4men to complete those missions

I just ran a Relay station TRS Hi shock in 20 minutes AND ITS NOT EVEN REMOTELY CLOSE.
Even if YOU TRIPLE!!! all of the numbers (which would be AN HOUR!)
ITS STILL NOT EVEN REMOTELY CLOSE to those numbers you gave.

At the end of the day i really dont give a crap if you guys think im trash or godlike at this game.

I answered a person who asked me a valid question in an eloquent manner about why i apparently care so much. And to answer i felt it was necessary to adequately display how easy the game really is with mods if you have 2 functioning hands and youre playing glorified whack-a-mole.

I answered the guy who found a valid inconsistency in the image description as well because it was a valid inconsistency.

At the end of the day this matters:

The mod is broken and shows way more information than it should and YOU can confirm that YOURSELF.

YOU can download the mod. Go into training mode. See what the mod is showing you. Start hitting something perpetually. Tell me if you can still actually hear the sounds the specials make that the mod is showing.

And if fartshart would get off their bums and actually try the mod themselves they could confirm that yes, the mod is complete bull and shows way more than what few sound cues are actually missing from specials.

By the way the mod also shows crushers. Ever heard a crusher sound effect ingame? No? You dont remember the epic “crusher spawn howl”? Well unsurprising because its NOT THERE.

And after fartshart confirmed the mod is cheating they could then do with it what they do with all the blatant cheat mods like decode helper.
Ignore them and make more money off cosmetic purchases.

Incorrect. It only shows you the aprociamte direction of the enemy without any distance indicator. With functional sound you can hear the enemy coming from that direction and have a feeling how far away said enemy is based on the volume. No such thing with SS

The only reason SS is firing that much in the Psykhanium is bcs the AI is constantly triggering search events, the AI isnt actually disabled there, youre just invisible to enemies. You can test that really easy by spawning in a bot and see the enemies go haywire on him. Also default Psykhanium has a sound muffler, so obv youre gonna hear next to no sound clues, despite SS firing off so hard

The sound queues arent missing the game fails to play them. Huge difference

I see you failed to comprehend my earlier explenation. SS fires off of EVENTS, NOT SOUNDS. The Crusher is firing an event when hes moving towards you, namely the event to trigger his footsteps/attack sounds. And obv the crusher doesnt have a spawn sound, as hes neither a special nor a boss

Also keep in mind that official FS staff is present on the modding discord, where the mod got featured as well. So chances are pretty high that an official FS employe saw it and didnt have it removed, so get off your high horse and calm down.

A vast majority of your statements in this post and others are objectively wrong and are only whining about stuff in order to whine about stuff.

If you have such a huge problem with people using mods, switch to console and disable cross play. Mods are the sole reason some players are even still playing, me included.
So you either have to cope with it or stop playing. FS wont change their stance on modding unless real cheats start popping up, like aim hack, wall chack, fly hack or whatnot.

And with the current state of the game, if FS decided to remove modding althogether, I would argue that atleast 50% of the current playerbase that is remaining would leave. DT is already bleeding a lot of players, we dont have to make it worse, and trust me, removing mods would make it WAY worse.

I dont get how everyone is complaining about f ucked sounds. I dont have issues at all. I have music at 70% and constant swivel around anyways, and Im never surprised by any special. Sometimes audio glitches with hounds or mutant wave but thats it.

I still hear each special type spawn sound, and their voicelines. Idk if i hear every individual special that spawns in, but i dont get surprised by some magical silent trappers. Like ever. I play damnation since launch and auric/maelstorm since introduction.

Regarding topic, Id just rather not play with a bunch of cheaters in my games. Sure its a single player pve game, is always the argument, why would I care. I do care. I would rather have people that can develop the skill to play this game proficiently at vanilla, than the clusterf uck of mods that ive seen as teammates. Its playing the game vs playing the hud.

Wonderful so you admit that THE MOD IS GIVING YOU INFORMATION THAT YOU LITERALLY HAVE NO OTHER WAY OF OBTAINING OTHER THAN USING THE MOD.

Only because you dont have the problem, doesnt mean it doesnt exist. I WISH DT was a single player pve game, but after 1 year we still dont have the option to play solo games or choose which map we play in any given configuration.

Youve convinced me that your reading comprehension has not progressed since 3rd grade. You blatantly ignore anything I say to cherry pick the one thing that could remotely align with your agenda.

Also the game still gives you the information of the crusher moving towards you. If youre incabable of hearing what a person with hearing impairment can hear, then maybe you should visit a doctor and get that looked at.

I can hear crushers moving towards me just fine, hell its nigh impossible to NOT hear them. They breathe down your neck from 3 rooms away with how obnoxiously loud they are.
