Should Zealot / Veteran get a Weapon Shield weapon like the Arbites?

 moment but they have a suppression shield instead of a storm shield

Nvm I’m dumb they can have either, I thought they could only have suppression shields.

Crusader can have Stormshield as alternative to Suppression ones.

Yeah I just realized that

Hmmm, hate to break it to you but the game does bring up the veterans back ground many, many, many times during firstly your character creation and dialect during game play, so you can not play that card at all. The Navis Imperialis is does very much differ from the Astra Militarum and from the veteran in DT.

Gotfret de montbard is a crusader of the Ecclesiarchy, which are not zealots. So please reframe from using such miniature’s as guidance.

Fatshark has sold this armor for Zealot in two color variations, which is a Crusader armor.

What did I miss?

Gotfret de Montbard or not.

He uses a Power Sword and Storm Shield with this specific armor which is the one that Fatshark sold us.

Don’t mean to be rude,

But if you could not read and quote the full text of what I typed, then please don’t quote me. As for the hammer and book’s role? I thought that was plain to guess as it was in what I typed.

FS screwed up and don’t know lore if they put actual crusader armour in game for a zealot as they are not the same.

I did say ā€˜could’, there’s a little bit of tweaking Fatshark could do to widen the backgrounds as much or as little as they need. But with how little the character creation backgrounds ended up mattering, I don’t know if that’s as much a restriction on anything.

Complains about Gotfret de Montbard, but not about how Fatshark butchered the Tallarn cosmetics…

Gameplay, in my opinion, is more important than blindly following IP lore, which in Games Workshops case they occasionally change in order to sell more/new miniatures.

Without the EU, Star Wars would not have had all of the cool stuf we go over the years (Sedriss XL enjoyers rise up)!

Just to clarify, the armour in game is not ā€œCrusaderā€ armour, it is Scroll Keepers Warplate which is common among the Carmine Fellowship which was presented as such and not crusader armour.

Also, the Inquisition can ā€œrequisitionā€ whatever they get their hands on, so that’s not really much of a restriction there either, especially since they have a rogue trader’s resources as well.

And point of clarification, I did not complain as I was pointing out a fact that it was the wrong miniature to use as Gotfret is not a Zealot. Please don’t twist what I say.

Power Sword and Storm Shield for Zealot, when?

Zealot represent all martial infantry of the Ecclesiarchy.

Crusader, like Death Cult Assassin are often part of those infantry.

And Hammer + Tome doesn’t really make sense, it’s not Warhammer fantasy (tome weapon for the Psyker though could make much sense.

Crusaders are not part of the Ecclesiarchy and neither are Zealots.

Twist it anyway you want, they are not Zealots with the sword and shield, they are crusaders. So your point is still mute.

I’m not trying to twist anything.

Reading through your responses, you seem to be somewhat confrontational?

What do you think about female Custodes?

None are part of the Ecclesiarchy, they’re forbidden from having standard armies.

But many Zealotous people will fight in the different crusades organised by the Ecclesiarchy, those people ranging from Beastmens to Crusaders houses, and from Cawdor style Redemptionist to Death Cult Assassins.

All of them are Zealots.

Why bring up canonically female Custodian? They have nothing to do with this conversation. Sorry that you miss interpret my reply’s as confrontational as I am just replying to what you type.
