just saying that you’re not alone here. not doubting any of the plasma gun’s qualities, but that delay on shot bugs the hell out of me, it’s not a point & click like a railgun, but like playing with ca 500 ms ping.
Just because you don’t like plasma it doesn’t change the fact that it is de facto one of the best ranged weapons in the game. You can fight against it, kick , claw and punch but the stats remain the same.
I dont like it so I dont use it. You cant understand the concept of an opinion because youre a proud metaslave. I know you cant udnerstand a different of subjective opinions or the subjective concept of fun, or the objective concept of skill. I will speak how I want anyway. The level of discussion is rockbottom, but when you realise the PSYOP is the ‘Meta’ you’ll come round. Might be years, and its nto just this game 
Like Ogryn, its a skillless weapon. Its designed for those to interact with the game in the simplest way. Thats not for me. Theres noting wrong with that and it is necessary. The PG does its simple job effectively with little need for aim, [recision, or awareness (becasue it shoots through walls…).
Its like a ranged DS in that regard. You’ll see what will happen to the DS meta and think of me. My standards are too high. We cant all be semi pro like me and be 3 games off the championships. Back t back 4 time world runner up and all that.
I prefer Lasguns, I’ve said as much and written guides. I acknowledge the usefulness of Kraks. I blasphemed you Power Sword users at launch. I’ve been right about everything, and will continue to be, This forum is just a pasttime.

What do you think of Kantrels and Shotguns? I think theyre fabulous weapons well balanced with great synergy with melee weaps and team comps.

The pg is an exceptional point and click weapon. It looks good, feels badass and has an ‘interesting mechanic’. In my opinion, exactly the same as the dueling sword 4. I did eschew the Power Swprd at launch for the same reasons accepted now that it isnt commonplace in an effort to get people to branch out, which they did. I’m proud of that, if at all anything to do with me.
The Steam troglodyte vs the infested narrative hijackers who consciously reviewbombed the game at launch. The guy who spoke out against it? Yeh that guy.
My fairytales go as far as playing Team Coolermaster on stage at Iseries, nothing more. The prize money was good but irrelevant, it was teamwork that took us there. Hence why I enjoy teamwork games.

I’ve seen a lot of bad takes in darktide but this is genuinely one of the worst. The gun that can one shot headshot bulwarks through their shield is bad and awful? Ok.
To be fair, that 1 shot kill takes a few seconds of wind up, no?

No, actually, it’s quite impressive. Got 6 bulwarks charging at you? Suddenly not a problem.
Got 20 riflemen shooting you? Gotta use grenades, VoC, sliding, cover and melee because it’s just not worth the ammo cost and you can’t actually shoot them all before having to vent.
You admitted yourself you just suck with the gun because you can’t aim it or wait for the recoil to finish. I don’t know what to tell you. If you hit the head you don’t have to worry about any of the stuff you complain about, but then you say “people want to nerf the light attacks” as though you didn’t just make a whole ass thread complaining that the light attacks suck.
Make up your mind and maybe quit arguing both sides just so you think you’re on the right side.

my whole thread refers to the light attacks because its what commonly highlighted as the overpowered part
PG is awfull at picking off shooters, worse than a laspistol at boss dps, you still need to rely on grenades and melee when facing bullworks and crushers
and its slightly better than a bolter when the enemies line up perfectly on a corridor
its a mediocre toy, it has its niche, but no veteran should regard it as its best tool
its a cope flamer
