Here is the fix: In the Nvidia Control Panel, click 3D Settings from the left-hand column menu. In 3D settings, under the Global Settings tab, scroll down to Preferred Refresh Rate. Change Preferred Refresh Rate to Application Controlled. No more flickering.

If this works, and I have this issue in some other games. I will be extremely thankful. ( I have an Asus PG32UCDP with a MSI 4090 not sure about what kind of display port cable, using the one the monitor came with.)
