Hi!
I’m sorry to bother you personally, @catfish , but there is an issue I would like to draw attention to; perhaps a small issue, but which, in my opinion, can also have economic repercussions on the game: that is, the female torsos are indistinguishable from the male torsos (except in the Reject creation screen). If this is not noticeable with actual armours and loose clothing, the issue is evident with light clothing. The consequence is that the proportions appear unnatural and the general appearance strange and awkward.
Earlier I talked about “economic repercussions”. Here’s what I’m referring to: there are many Cosmetics that I would have gladly bought with Aquilas, but which create a visually unpleasant effect on female Rejects. So, I have refrained from buying anything for now, and I don’t think I’m alone in this.
I would like to make a clarification: I do not want exaggerated or unnatural female bodies, but only more realistic female bodies, or at least distinguishable from the male ones. Cosmetics for female Rejects, as they are now, do not actually encourage purchasing.
I attach screenshots showing some of the most obvious cases.
One last note: only by comparing the screenshots I attached did I realize that the torsos are slightly different, but the difference is so minimal that it is normally not even noticeable. It is also ironic that the arms appear visibly different and the torso does not.
Can you tell me if there are any plans to address this issue?
I apologize again for the hassle, also I apologize for the broken English and I thank my friend Scarlet Mira, who took the screenshots for me because her PC is far better than mine.
Thank you, Catfish, I’m waiting for a response and I can’t wait to hit the battlefield with more style and coolness

Clearly induction into the penal legions includes free compulsory top surgery.
Good post.
This issue annoys me as well.
Sure there are some outfits (i.e. those with solid armored chest plates) where even if designed with a fit for females probably wouldn’t look much different on the outside. But for any of the more “regular” looking clothing and outfits the lack of different is a big design miss.
Likewise, I don’t buy a good number of cosmetics I otherwise might because the fit on female characters is atrocious. That last cosmetic in the OP (leather jacket) is comically horrendous looking on the female vet. Like, just unspeakably bad and awful looking.
I hadn’t even noticed this before as I am an Ogryn through and through, but this is a good point.
The only thing I can think of lore wise would be that most of the armor we get is looted from the battlefield, so the “armor” may not be fitted for women specifically, but as for the shirts and tank tops, you’re absolutely right. Maybe the could at least make the armor slimmer? As there have to be some smaller folks in the front lines too that can be looted from.
Some of the worst cases it;s clear that the armor isn’t even scaling correctly to fit the smaller / female character model. It will look like the arms are coming out of the “armpits” of the armor/outfit because the shoulders of the armor aren’t narrowing at all. It looks awful IMHO.
The two images above are a good example of my issue with the fit on female characters. In the first image, the shoulders come out where they should. On the second with the bulkier armor, the shoulders look pulled out and broadened. The shoulder plates look like they are too far out from where the shoulders should be. It just doesn’t look like a female/fitting armor at all.
Below is the newest cosmetic. The gloves aren’t scaled down at all - they are like oversized hockey mits with this huge loose gap at the top of the cuff since the arm doesn’t fill it. Why wasn’t the cuff slimmed down? Or the pauldron on the right side adjusted to not be literally floating over the shoulder?
The mobien 21st just looks ridiculous.
Very good post - I’m pretty annoyed by this with my female psyker as well.
lol I wasn’t trying to be a butt, I was just thinking lore wise I guess, but yeah that model looks…off. Particularly the moebian one…yikes
I agree, they definitely should be much more form fitting. So many times i join and think the PC is male until i hear the voice
Nah, your point made perfect sense lore-wise. I just immediately remembered this pic and thought it most appropriate to share.
Oh lol. I’m all about enjoying how your character looks in game. For me it makes it easier and more fun when you can craft a back story for them and a reason why they look the way they do, so I’ll ALWAYS support people when they are having issues with their look in the game.
I’m a Bullgryn, but I will continue to fight for the vets who want to be a Kasrkin in the game. Cuz I’d love to fight with people who look like this…
So to have an issue where your clothing doesn’t fit right is definitely something I’ll raise hell about to support folks with.
This issue doesn’t bother me, its 40k and we are in a penal legion. The choice of dialogue/banter/conversations bugs me more than if a female torso/waist is around the same size as a male.
Now now you can’t fault the 40K universe for having ridiculously drawn/moulded shoulders and pauldrons. It’s GW’s whole thing.
They took my tits, can’t have sh*t on Atoma
To be fair the 21st chest piece also looks awful on the male body so you’re not really missing much there.
They saved money by using male anatomy on all their skins. You should see the Commissar jacket for vets. LMAO
This is another reason I hate the cash shop. They charge 15 bucks for something that they couldn’t be bothered to fix the body types for.
