Female Psyker's Armour looks weird

Hello, new player here, just would really like some feminine Psyker Armour. every piece of armour looks like it was made for a male character, and everything makes me look like a tank, as in it looks like it’s made for the male body (increasing my arms circumference by 2, etc.) I’m all for women in armour being undistinguishable from men, but if what they’re wearing isn’t armour but a shirt it just doesn’t make sense and looks uncanny.

This is specific on female models and armour sets, I tried to show a comparison in the picture, but I would really love anything actually modelled for the character’s body (Not asking thin waste, big boobs, just not big arms that are several times what her arms supposedly size is, and maybe a belt that would actually sit on the body and not look like she’s wearing 3 different padded layers and a gamberson, cause right now my character look like they’re a michelin man with a pretty face.

EDIT: From the picture I betcha you couldn’t tell it’s a girl either, it looks like a skinny guy as well, which I’m all for, but just funny looking back.

Specifically, it’s mainly the arms that annoy me when playing her, it’s fine she’s more of a twink guy, you don’t need breasts as a woman to be pretty, but the arms makes her look like a man it’s almost comical. And it’s not like Psykers have a lot of health anyway, for people saying they’re running around in armour.

And for reference, the red chest piece is the closests sitting chestpiece I could find, the other one just make her look even buffer. Especially the gloves ones make it look like it’s not even her hand anymore.

I don’t know where else to bring up this topic so i’m putting it here, in hopes of someday getting something a little more feminine that I can wear. Hell just reducing the bicep-size of the armourpiece would make me SO happy.

To be fair, this one seems a lot more reasonable than the usual gooner/waifu begging.

The question is, how much of the gooner/waifu begging is actually just the truthful criticism of Body Type A/B human models being labeled as such?

Not saying that’s what you’re doing, but there’s a tendency for criticism people find uncomfortable to be… mislabeled.

I think some of the criticism is valid, it just seems to be a magnet for people who want Korean* beauty standards or more sexualised armour. Maybe not the majority, but enough to sour it.

(*I mention Korean beauty standards because the Warhammer MMO added extra faces ahead of a planned Korean rollout. No scars and no wrinkles – uncanny doll faces that were jarring when mixed into a warband of normal faces).

There seems to be this really damned weird tendency for some people to think that if you complain that the body types look too identical you’re either a gooner or a fascist.

There just couldn’t possibly be a legitimate criticism there?

Oddly enough vermintide 2 had plenty of more obviously female skins for both Sienna and Kerillian. I never saw a complaint anywhere.

I rerolled my female Zealot to male because of this nonsense.

She looked fine first, but some of the coolest armor just look so weird.

Still have female Psyker, but I hardly play Psyker.

Yeah this is annoying.

The faces are kinda fugly but that’s fine.

I’m annoyed about the body types because it’s lazy.

Actually, I don’t think I’ve ever added this particular complaint to The Book because I was worried about the ‘gooner bait’ accusation.

Maybe I should change that.

I would say they are solid representations of human ants in an inter-generational genocidal conflict against a wholly intractable foe.

Yeah, the Psyker female outfits are particularly bad. They just look four sizes too big, and if they could at least be shrunken slightly to fit the frame that would be really nice. The only ones that look okay tend to be the base-game rags. At least the one has a cape, though, that’s cool.

Just gave my witch that psi conductive thing for the lolz and she seems stuck in a refrigerator :winking_face_with_tongue:

Ok I understand it’s simpler and cheaper to work with a universal model but it looks exactly that, cheap.

Yes, skins like these would be much better, for anyone searching Google for pics of Kerillian/Sienna.

Yes, all armors look for males.
And no, they won’t change their behavior…

In Dune I can see the boobs of my character (bene gesserit so took a woman)…
But I made a mistake about the eyes of my face..
In Darktide you can reroll. Anyways you have few options.
In Dune you have plenty of pameters and can produce any character, but you cannot correct your character…

What’s weird is it’s so obviously diametrically opposite to good business, especially from Fatsharks perspective.

Do we really believe the world is more full of people who would refuse to buy skins that look like those two because they’re obviously more feminine, than it full is of people who would buy them exactly because they are?

How many people would buy a zealot “boob armor” skin so they can cosplay a sister of battle-lookalike? Like…

Right? There are no gooner outfits in Vermintide 2, but they do look like they fit on the characters. XD

I can actually get some outfits looking too big in Darktide; we are making do with random stuff, after all. But surely they can find something that reasonably fits them?
