Yeah, if you conveniently forget other defensive talents of other classes.
Yeah, i’m again and again see that i’m much bigger fish than most of the other people here

You’re either completely ignorant and oblivious or an excellent troll. Either way, any discussion with you is like trying to play chess with a pigeon.
Hmm…
yeah I’m sure it’s a gimmick at this point. After a few weeks of unsuccessfully trying to convince us non og and arbites are the problem and are just too weak we have this.
And that is why it won’t be really nerfed. At best some of the other classes will be tweaked upwards while the Arbites stays statics. Otherwise known as nerf by omission.
Years ago Wargaming introduce the Super Pershing to World of Tanks as one of the early premium (aka only obtainable with real money) tanks. It ended up being a nightmare of poor design on top of stupid design. When they went to make changes to it that triggered a firestorm of complaints about false advertising. Long story short they almost landed in court in several countries, some of whom have much stronger laws than the “buyer beware” of the USA. In the end Wargaming backed off after getting serious pushback from other game publishers. They were all terrified that if the case was lost the resulting precedent would mean no more being able to go “oops, screwed up” then change things. Basically forcing them to get things right the first time whenever real money was laid down.
Pretty much the same situation here. Obesetuna found a hole with something sticky coming out, stuck parts of its anatomy into it hopping for a quick handful of gold, and instead found a primed bear trap with the chain feeding into an active woodchipper. And now they being pulled in but too terrified to cut off the limb.
It could have been avoided by doing a thorough playtest on a test server, listening to all the feedback, and taking the time to tweak then retest. But when greed, arrogance, and sloth get involved good design processes go out the window. Then what gets made is whatever makes the most/ costs the least money, doesn’t threaten the sacred cow, and takes the least effort. Welcome to modern design. Its no wonder that 50+ years after landing on the moon humanity still stuck on this rock.
Yeah, I don’t buy it.
There’s advertising on Arbites abilities and dog, but nothing on the specifics of toughness regen, how strong the dog is or any of the talent nodes specifically.
I don’t believe any judge anywhere will consider tweaking a game after selling DLC false advertising.
Sister of the Thorn got a full rework after 9 months so there is precedent; but that was before a bunch of devs jumped ship to work on Helldivers 2.
Never happening since they keep banning people on steam who talk badly about arbites.
who are “they”?
we get it man you’re the smartest person in the world and everyone else is a moron
Name one.
Good idea. Most people should rely on their own brains more.
I actually killed 5 gunners in 1 shot here.
Its not consistent. But please also keep in mind this ability also effects your melee weapon. And gunners are one of the heavier mass targets, so the increased cleave also impacts TTKs much more heartily into shotgunners, ragers, groaners, poxwalkers…..etc.
Name one.
“Axes are in the good place right now” - something that instantly comes to my mind.
As for the video - not taking “Target the weak” and taking “Razor jaw”.
I actually killed 5 gunners in 1 shot here.
Yet failed to kill 3 earlier. It’s artificially created enviroment, barely you will be shooting conga-line of 5 gunners at point-blank distance in real game. And at longer distances is still not worths it because chaff dies already and elites will require another shot anyway.

Oh you’re that guy. We already talked about this. You agreed with me that both the Rashad and Antax are in a good place and your complaint was that the Achlys has a bad special attack. Considering I was talking about the weapon family and looking specifically for more pressing outliers alongside my chat during that segment; the achlys being worse than the other two axes but still entirely usable with Bromentum…is far from a “bad take”. Unless you have some reason to believe the achlys is way worse than the other axes…which you haven’t yet presented.

As demonstrated already by @Harridas Razor Jaw judgement is busted. Even in its slightly downmodified state. Target the weak was part of my recommended list of talents that make Arbites OP.

I killed 3? in one shot? What are you talking about? Then 5? Like it IS inconsistent, as I already said, probably due to other buff effects that aren’t showing up in the bar.
barely you will be shooting conga-line
Yes. Dense clowncars of enemies pouring out of doors never happens in this game ever. No one has seen this happen before on a regular basis and I was just making it up to earn points on the internet. Now its my turn to ask you if you even play the video game? This happens CONSTANTLY. Particularly on maps like Hab Drayko but pretty much any door spawn heavy map has this happen all the time.

I don’t remember this. Might have forgotten but i’m pretty sure was no such convo. Axes are bad with it’s like 1.5 patterns of them are useful where 1 is rashad and 0.5 is achlys. Antax is trash one. They need moveset and damage\speed tweaking.

Is was when i was bugged. otherwise if was pretty useless before bug and remains like this currently. don’t get me wrong - it WORKS and it does the job of increasing dog damage correctly, but it doesn’t worth taking at all while there’s other talents. Maybe if we had 5 more extra talent points - it would make sense to take to. but otherwise - shock jaws and that’s if you are even taking any dog talents.
I killed 3? in one shot? What are you talking about?
Okay, nevermind. Some fking shcizofrenia on my side. I swear i heard the elite death sound after second shot.
Yes. Dense clowncars of enemies pouring out of doors never happens in this game ever.
Exactly. Most of the time you will be fighting enemies spread on the map. If you are doorcamping them - you don’t need this talent anyway, since you’ll be staggering and killing them safely unless burster line will spawn there. And even then - you have grenades for this
Axes are in the good place right now” - something that instantly comes to my mind
Are you talking about in havoc or auric? Cause in auric they destroy everything and is genuinly one of the best weapons in the game.
Depends on the judge. I’ve seen many stupidier cases that went against what people call “common sense” because the judge and/or jury had a different opinion of what the law meant. Plus the Super Pershing didn’t advertise specific specifications either but Wargaming - a studio whose resources dwarfed Fatshark’s and has repeatedly proven to give zero frags about its players - was forced to back down. They wouldn’t have done if they were convinced they were going to win.
Do keep in mind that what is at stake isn’t the specific changes. A judge isn’t going to care about that and really neither does the company. What terrifies studios is that if they did get sued for a change to paid content, weren’t able to settle, and the verdict came down it could mean no more Wild West period for tech courtesy of establishing case law for one issue. Who actually owns digital assets. The company who says customers only “rent a license to use”, or the consumers who believe they are buying the product itself? Because if the case law was to say that the consumers owned the product a whole bunch of legal protections would snap into place. Like requiring refunds if the buyer was unable to use the product as advertised, or it was changed at a later date to a state where they wouldn’t have bought it it. Even the ability to ban players from the actual game would be in doubt.
That is what you are missing in a “can’t see the forest for the trees” situation. Its not the changes that would go to trial. No, anyone suing over this is going to frame their case like this:
That the plaintiff had paid Fatshark for a specific product and after recieving said payment Fatshark changed the product. Which violated the plaintiffs rights as owner of said property to not have it altered without either their express permission and/ or just compensation.
And no a contract can not alter preexisting law. Its been a long standing legal principle of Western law that if a contract contradicts any law passed by a recognized body (city, country, province/ state, or nationally) the contract loses. So the EULA doesn’t actually mean jack for who owns the game.
Generally. Personally i’d put them a bit above devil’s claw
Devil’s claw in auric the only things you’re ever going to get to counter are daemonhosts you activate, chaos spawns you aggro’d first and maybe that sneaki specialist going for the 2 frame kick of despair. Its probably one of the worst melee weapons for damage there.
