Dlc cash class is ridiculously overpowering team & enemies

the rejects are all really overpowered, so did we need an unfunny cop that outclasses all of them in everything ? not even small nerfs coming to the 12 euro win button after all those months of vacation, abandoning the game in it’s most critical state ? We got even less players than before the update, because it’s so boring as arbite just instantly deleting all enemies off the map while getting 0 punishment for 1000 mistakes, it must be so underwhelming once they start playing other classes. everyone i know including me sadly stopped playing this game now. The longer you hesitate, the more players will get sick of watching clearly unexperienced pay2win losers steamroll everything.

I get why it’s overtuned, because buying the class just for it to feel awful would make the purchase feel completely invalid, but the amount by which it steamrolls and the length of time it’s taking them to rebalance, while within scope for their usual update schedule, makes it look like they just want people to think if they pay more money they can have a class that actually feels good to play. I don’t think that’s the case though, they just didn’t want the purchase to feel pointless and unplayable.

while it didn’t outright “kill” darktide for me, it invalidatesmany aspects of what once made a match fulfilling.

often times abysmal performance still nets undeserved results thanks to simply how much of a cushion the arbites talents and weaponry are, to the point my intermediate difficulty between auric maelstrom and havoc is to outdo every arbi at any cost :smile:

the idiotic thing?

even playing better by a landslide those peeps get the odd enemy cluster killfeed by just running into the fray braindead where even as ogryn one has to watch out for disablers etc.

and feel confirmed in their behavior by it.

gunners get basically negated while castigator is on, something that melts the big man regardless of toughness if placed unwisely.

heck even if one of em would play “well” and deserved his merits, i couldn’t tell him from “stoner-steve”, spread out on a couch in a drug induced coma :man_shrugging:

sadly because of this anyone with the class automatically gets disregarded as the A.S.S cheese manifestation in human form

Agreed. The game isn’t offering much anymore right now. I’m working my way to H40 and once I get True Survivor I’m going to play Shinobi and Silk Song before I even look at DT anymore.

funny how castigator was considered dead on arrival. it’s the strongest, or easiest to use ability: switch on, go bonk, nothing rains on your parade except for a trapper net . and it has malocator cdr in the same branch.

They have let DS unchanged for 1 year… PG for 2. And you expect that they will nerf the only DLC class they sell for this game?

And tbh, few things are OP. It just need adjustments, but I don’t think they will come in next patch
Anyways, I took the path to use what entertains me… so I play Arbites.

But true, my main game is no more Darktide. It helps a lot to not be emotionally involved by the game development.

They did seem to want to nerfs them at least. But we know how that went when it was leaked.

At least VT2 had op classes like the Sister of the Thorn that got nerfed.

it’s difficult to take back power given to players. i’m waiting for the outcry how unplayable arbi has become once he’s reigned in even a bit.

I believed this too. I think it’s because we didn’t know just how absurdly much sustain/regen the cop was going to have.

Do you even really need the 80% DR? It’s kind of just a nice to have on the way to the damage mod nodes.

The DR allows you to just hit pox bursters in the face and have a stand off with snipers while you shoot them without dodging.

my clutch rate went up to 90% after ogryn and arby dropped. thank you fatshark for nerfing the game to my skill level :folded_hands:

I don’t remember exactly since when, but Auric HISTG has been overflowing with players of this level, people who really should be playing on Malice or Heresy instead. Most of them lack knowledge, and even something as simple as dodging a charged attack is difficult for them. Low-level Ogryns in particular just spam light attacks with the Club. Sometimes they even fail to push back a lone Burster. And even with Arbites, there are still players who go down, so it’s not some guaranteed win, god-tier class. Those who say otherwise are probably only getting that impression because the skill level of the players around them is far too low.

I am absolutely terrified by the actual skill level of players.

Today, I played my favorite game… let them rush, and retrieve them at next place where the players are kept tied. 2 times in one mission.
One of them looted two times the ammo crate, 1 wasted the medikit in the first 3 minutes of the mission, one has died 3 times because he did not know how to use a medic station… And the greatest moment is when I checked their equipment: blue, blessings T1 etc.

The 2 were totally stupid… however, they are the typical guys I see in every mission… rushers that die far away… and when you liberate them, what do they do? they start again to run, run, run and… fall again far ahead
