It is smart, because it encourages playes to swap weapons and use these mechanics with valid bonuses instead of trash that weapon spec has. Wow, just wow. Devs gave people mechanic that doesn’t make them fight the game to use(Unlike Marksman focus or WS) and they are unhappy.
Fair enough on principle.
But then you have cases like the arbi shotguns. Giving those +75% more cleave f.e. is dumb.

You know, in case of me in the most of the threads it’s rather this picture, since i saw some people with actually good takes like Antilus or Archon_Dagoth. People who have actually played the game.
Tbh, i don’t think that’s much of a problem with their cleave is pretty big already so extra cleave is kinda superfluous imo. They cleave through almost any trash horde by default
So you would change it to work like a build up or something if i’m getting this right? Something that isn’t free stagger but still provides stagger.
Sounds fair but I like more the idea of making all the other nodes related to stagger slightly weaker. At least it doesn’t screw over every weapon.
Reginald showed off this interaction in a video and the difference is substantial.

Reginald while being isn’t completely clueless still has a lot of bad take. I’d rather think twice before listening to him.
People tend to grab the opinions of youtubers and repeat it without thinking. That’s why we have dum-dum bullets chanting that plasma is OP because of its endless cleave that has a lot of benefits in artificially created scenarios but has almost no use in real game.

Maybe, it might add up to the same thing. I am just favouring the option that is the most surgical since this one talent is gatekeeping so many other nodes.
And I am completely open minded about what the change to Concussive should actually be. A cooldown? A stacking system? A “no bosses” clause? Swapping stagger for electrocuted? There’s room to be creative.

Anyone that has seen this interaction will come to the same conclusion, assuming they got there logically. Doesn’t matter if you thought about it twice or even a hundred times if you end up at the wrong conclusion, you’re still wrong in the end.
The point was also never that “look at x youtuber, if he said it, it must be true!” And more like there being recorded examples as to how and why you’re wrong.

Yep. That’s the issue. i mean, i would lie if i say that i got no useful info from him, but damn, after you receive any data you have to try to process it yourself at least sometimes.

If it’s done to most talents I’m pretty sure the sum of all the small nerfs would have an impact, not a huge one, but just enough to feel good
