Hand of Shallya: If you have a healing item in your inventory and pick up a downed ally, they will be picked up with 10 health and no injuries.
Healing an ally also heals you for 20.0% of your health.
Healers Touch: 30% chance to not consume healing item on use.
Reduces damage taken by 12%.
Natural Bond: Passively regenerates 1 health every 4 seconds. When falling, reduces damage taken by 70% and can crawl through enemies.
Very interesting, I like this a lot. Nat bond desperately needs something to make it useful.
Great suggestions for the other two as well, this would bring them up to par with the two traits that pretty much everyone seems to use (Barkskin followed by Boon of Shallya).
I’ve actually thought about random procs for not consuming items. I think it’d be more useful if it was on a cooldown timer, so players could efficiently use healing; even if this means it happens less. Maybe once every 5 minutes you won’t consume a healing item when using it; Something similar for the bombs and potions; maybe once every 3 minutes.
This idea of not consuming the items, I didn’t improve it that much, as it would be an item for almost exclusive use by the RV, from the idea I put forward.
Yeah, but I’m thinking if it the necklace trait wasn’t so random then I might use it on other careers too.
Also the DR would be good for squishy RV, but this is better solved by revising his DR talent by giving him protective stacks like Huntsman, Engineer, Necromancer, or Bounty Hunter.
Waystalker gets good THP, high melee damage, health Regen or cool down ticks, faster weapons with comparable headshot damage on longbow to the X-bow but faster, better dodge, and an ult that auto headshots or works similar to the Bounty Hunter ult but with a 100% refund instead of 60%.
Honestly, I like how they gave the engineer an extra 25 health and he has a powerful DR talent. I think they should nerf Waystalker ult and Amaranth, OR perhaps make Huntsman and Ranger Vet less punishing for new players by giving them 25 more health like engineer.
I agree with almost everything, I just think that BH is good this way, it would just need some adjustments as I already put in an idea, and I already improved RV’s kit in this idea, adding and improving damage mitigation in talents at levels 25 and 10.
Same. I really dislike random proc type buffs, because you never know when you can count on it. There’s no possible strategy involved other than “just hope it procs a lot”. Comparing this to something like Zealot’s invulnerability (whatever it’s called), that can be used once every 5 minutes (or whatever the time is). Vastly prefer that experience.
Sadly we may be wishing for nothing, sometimes I think Games Workshops mandates a certain amount of RNG in any game using its IP
