There are a couple decent solo pieces, but whoever is designing your shop skins is terrible at their job.
on a side note, all shop skins should be unlockables, imagine charging for skins and still delivering lacking updates, an unfinished game at launch etc etc
take a look at the style; the skins are being designed by the same people who built the cash shop… there’s a reason they all look like low rent, sailor moon rejects.
They’re all very true to 40k actually.
You don’t realize it, but you’re really just insulting Games Workshop at this point. 
Or maybe you just don’t enjoy the design intent?
I’ve been playing 40K for over 20 years; through all the styles they’ve tried, and I can confidently state you take is so bad it’s comical. The closest thing to anime rejects in 40K are the Tau… and they do not dress like a cardboard Death Note cosplay…
I never bought any, and unless we get a Krieg set, I probably never will. Reason is because most look bad (what’s with all that stupid camo patterns?), and also they are overpriced, both for the quality and for a game where we can barely see the skin we are paying for.
The outfits really are taken 1 to 1 from the table top, though.

Mhhh not always really. Clearly the Steel Legion one is an exception, it looks great, and it’s probably one I would buy, if I were big on the Legion.

Crusader Armor doesn’t actually count until they can use Power Sword, or ideally Power Sword and Suppression Shield. Maybe even 2 handed power sword. Also missing the helmet which is cringe.
That’d be the weapons, though. And I agree, I want them, too. I know what you mean, you can’t fully play as that “unit” until they’re in the game.
The Psyker Outfit is complete at least.
What I’m personally waiting for is Ogryn’s grenade launcher with slab shield combo (if that ever makes it to the game).
I even named by Ogryn “Bullgryn” to roleplay the character, because I knew the grenade launcher was in. Only learned later you can’t use it with the shield.
Also the Bullgryn armor set in the game is ruined by the god awful camo on it. Would have been the only premium set I would’ve considered getting if it was the right color.
Steel legion helmet+gasmask in game looks bad tho, like some mole i dunno. Totally different from concept art
The reason it looks off is that it’s missing the hose to the filter pack or the filter itself. Probably skipped because of clipping even though other bits and other outfits clip like hell anyway.
But on concept there is no hose too. Look at the shape is’t like a skull, while in game it’s a pure cone
And the few good ones I refuse to buy because of monopoly money.
Make it like V2 and I might consider it. Stop making us jump through hoops.
