I suspect some mumbo jumbo involving Sofia replacing Sienna among the U5 and having Lohner cover for her to justify a Necromancer career…
Either that or Sofia Fuegonasus seeking revenge DLC and undead as new faction.
This can be explained very simply. I immediately invented one variant:
Lohner must hide in Sienna’s room (for example, under the bed) a vial / soul stone / SHADEGLASS MIRROR - containing the spirit of Sofia. And that’s all. Sienna is possessed by her sister’s spirit. When she falls asleep, the sister takes control over the body. Sienna doesn’t remember this at all, or thinks she’s in a nightmare.
After all the really loud grumbling against playable vampires/necromancers, I’m surprised the majority reaction so far (here and elsewhere) is that this journal is a hint at a necromancer Sienna class and not about a new plot line or else.
I think the next mini arc might end up dealing with Undead.
Over the course of Lohner’s chronicles and post Drachenfels, there’s been quite a lot of references to Vampires, undead, ghosts, horror stories. Hell, since the SOTT or maybe the Chaos Waste update, the in game characters have actively been making comments such as “Did that corpse just look at me?”
Going off the theory that the Nameless Voice -is- Drachenfels, which mind you hasn’t been proven yet. We know the Nameless voice knows who Sienna’s sister is and there’s been ghastly sounds coming from the crypts under Taal’s Horn Keep. So, it comes down to a simple question for me. Is this person who’s writing the Nameless Voice actually Sienna’s twin alive, blackmailing Lohner with information she’d unlikely possess, or possibly the Namless Voice/Drachenfels using the idea of Sienna’s sister to mess with Lohner and get him to do what he wants. After all, we know Drachenfel’s raising the dead, or using “illusions” of dead loved ones to mess with, murder and generally get people to do what he wants with them.
Strange one this week. Not sure what to make out of it. May be just some kind of fun filler like Markus being a coach or Bardin’s backpack packing skills. Or maybe some hint for some kind of Wizard’s Tower map?
Next week October begins and we are approaching Geheimnisnacht. Maybe the pace will pick up there again.
It may indeed imply a new mission in a mansion at Rosalinde’s, which may refer to as you said “The sorcerer’s tower” in 1.
But hey, remains to be seen what becomes of all that, between the career of Victor, a potential campaign against a new faction and a necromancer? And now a new mission in a Wizard’s Tower 2.0? “Fatshark, take my money”.
I hope in any case that all this is true, whatever happens I will continue to buy their DLC and I continue to read their reviews which sometimes “hyped” me.
I hope together with whatever is coming we get the inventory fix they promise (move uncustomizable items to a separate inventory, so duplicate hats can be scrapped and we can have more space. So we can buy stuff from the emporium (which hopefully will offer stuff as well)
If Victor were to become a “Knight of Morr”, what do you think he might have as weapons in his arsenal? And his ultimate skill that goes with it? Because I don’t know anything except their devotions to protect cemeteries and the dead from necromancers.
After reading the wiki page about Knights of Morr and thus becoming Warhammer lore expert, with all my newfound authority I proclaim that there are no restrictions in usage of ranged weapons by those knights.
As for new weapons, both are most likely are going to be melee. First one is shield & something (probably sword). As for the second one, I’m hoping for a huge oversized and unbalanced censer.
Something like this one, but bigger:
Great, thank you friend! If he becomes a “Knight of Morr” he’ll be stylish! Much more than a warrior priest. (I’m a huge fan of Victor, I wanted a warrior priest for him but seeing the Knight of Morr is even better!)
I think hopefully for whichever Saltzpyre career we get, Knight of Morr or not (which would be a pretty cool class visually if we dont get a warrior priest of some sort), im hoping for either a 2H Flail with multiple heads as another crowd control centric weapon for his arsenal.
If not that then a 2H Long Messer would be cool as well as more of single target type weapon. It’d probably operate similiar to Bretonnian Longsword for Kruber but with more of an executioner/coghammer type feel to it with stabs instead of overheads.
