Have you rationalized that the game is ok after instaling so many QoL and bug fix mods that even your Skyrim folder would blush?

Lets make a big 'ol list of problems atm for our lovely (and possibly stressed beyond belief due to amount of issues now) Community managers like Catfish and Julia so that they can send all of our grievances at once when the managers come back from their break later this month.

Iā€™ll put in some stipulations for the complaints so it wont turn into a brawl that Straw (our shinny new forum moderator) needs to clean up.

  1. No mod complaints - Quickpaw cant reach through their computer screen and slap the mod makers who put out content that some may consider toxic, unfun, or artificially make the game easier.

  2. Game balance must be entirely objective - Grievances must be along the lines of ā€œCrucian roulette for headhunters is worse stat wise in all regards as opposed to Surgical for X reasonā€ not, ā€œzomg Slaughter is op pls nerfā€ If you think a complaint is a ā€œskill issueā€, explain it logically and leave the ad hominems at home.

  3. No player behavior and/or moderation complaints - Fatshark is a game company, not a kindergarden. Emperor knows people can be mean at times, but lets focus on making the game enjoyable and playable before policing others.

As the comments fill up, Iā€™ll start listing them on here so everyone can see what people have already mentioned.

I feel this will be ignored. However, I also feel obligated to scream into the void. So letā€™s go.

In rough order of importance, based on my own experiences:

1. Game audio bugfixes. Whatever youā€™re doing with this new system of audio, it doesnā€™t work. Iā€™ve heard rumors it was a ā€˜threat levelā€™ thing but you seriously need to fix it. Enemies should never be silent. Also bring back the horde music!

2. Internal versioning control. Bugs like gunner/shooter pushback have re-emerged in recent patches, pointing to bad control of release versioning. This is a common issue in the company and needs to be permanently addressed.

3. The crafting system. We all know about it. We all hate it. If you INSIST on the RNG, make it simple: Pay something like 400-600 diamantine to break a lock, and add a ā€˜stat boosterā€™ thing where you pay diamantine at a 1:1 rate to boost stats on your weapons. This would encourage keeping your old guns and upgrading them for RP reasons, and encourage engagement with the crafting system overall. If youā€™re actually amenable to breaking the RNG upā€¦just do that, and give us a crafting overhaul like the class overhaul, that actually accomplishes what you said you wanted in your devblog.

4. Weapons balance. With the health increases and the difficulty shifting more and more towards elite spam, weapons are beginning to fall off for many (see the Kantrael lasguns). This needs to be looked at holistically with the elite health and horde sizes. EDIT: Specifically, the recon lasguns, the shotguns, the flamer, Ogrynā€™s power maul, and the thunder hammer all could use a look-over and buffing. Generally, everything should be at least competitive on regular Damnation with 350-360 base rating.

5. Class balance. My chief problems are 1) Vet feeling too weak still and 2) Psyker having some jank. Vet mostly just needs some stat adjustments/keystone reworks without changing the makeup of his tree to feel satisfying, thankfully. Psykerā€™s jank, especially with blitzes, needs the slightly more complicated idea of messing with the damage of stuff like Brain Burst and Assail. Personally I think those need to have difficulty-dependent damage to make them more viable at higher difficulties without becoming useless at lower ones, but others may have ideas about how to make them better.

6. Communication from the devs. This needs to be more common. Enough said.

7. Cosmetics. I understand wanting to have the game make money. Thatā€™s what Fatshark is here to do at the end of the day. But the current style is justā€¦lazy. Look. If you want to earn a shred of fan goodwill back, you need to start reducing cosmetic prices, making them available more openly, and providing a way for people to earn more cosmetics than are currently available. The way things are currently set up will hook whales, yes. But it will not earn you fan goodwill, and you are not a AAA company that can make its money off of whales and not have to worry about nerd rage. Youā€™re selling a niche product that owes its worth to the passion of the fans, not Madden 2024.

no. Iā€™m sitting at 20k plasteel. Wouldā€™ve been 60k (i spent 40k trying to get 1 particular blessing for testing powersword, just to prove the point on forum).
And i have 10-15 builds on EACH character. Every build having itā€™s individual weapon with blessings i need for this build.

So i never felt the need to ā€œfarmā€ plasteel. Just played the game.

nope. As stated above - have much builds. Much weapons. Weapons have stats that i need. And perks/blessings that i need. They not ā€œgod-rollsā€ with perfect 380 stats distributed by 80%. And they not all tier IV perks and blessings. But you DONT NEED god roll weapons. 360-370 stats distributed by ~70% with tier III perks and blessing will do the job just fine.

sometimes game crashes during match. Sometimes it fails to connect. But itā€™s not like you cant just rejoin back. From the second attempt everything works. It is a problem, but not that dire as you describe.

  • scoreboard. because iā€™m egoistical competivive person, that desires to be first place in everything. I understand that itā€™s unhealthy and iā€™d rather NOT had scoreboard.
  • monster spawns in meat grinder. Because i like try things out and experiment with builds.
  • reveal blessings. because iā€™m too lazy to look them up online.
  • gun customization. because i like making theme builds and have weapons that look accordingly.
  • spidey sense. Because game does have sounds problems. which developers aware of.

The only QoL mod is spidey sense. Rest of them are unnecessary and are personal preferences, rather than objective QoL mods.

you suggesting everyone to go on a rant why certain things need to be fixed/changed inside this topic. Making it a complete mess of a discussion, because itā€™s not limited to a single point.

How about, if you are such good willed, you go and scout through entire General Discussion and pick every single topic and add them into your post?
Summarize all topics, where people discussed different things related to game. And make short points from there into your single topic for Community Managers to look into.

Fun idea! Even if we all have realistic expectations Iā€™m sure.

Iā€™m going to use some ideas Iā€™ve seen by others and some of my own:

  • Fix the special sound bugs and the newly introduced unreliable blocking & push attacking since class overhaul
  • To address crafting issues in a way that benefits both sides: Add a new resource X you can earn by doing all weeklies, so for example limited to 1 per week per account. One X plus tons of resources and money, can be used to reroll a locked perk or blessing once, after which it would lock again. This would increase player engagement which would be good for Fatshark, but so severely limited would still take forever for anyone to get all god-rolls for all gear, for all builds across all characters, so it wouldnā€™t undermine the gameā€™s reliance on RNG.
  • Add a new ranged single-target anti-elite / anti-boss staff for psykers
  • Add new cool staff skins for psykers
  • Add a ton of normal faces and hair options, now we only have like 2
  • Add extra functions to the inventory: 1) lock items to not sell them by accident, 2) hide or store items in a chest, to clean up inventory without selling stuff you might wanna use at some point, 3) add a ā€œsort by base score valueā€ option to stores and inventory
  • Let us use emotes in missions!
  • Add extra emotes and stances / demeanors to everything in general. Like letting us pick our stance in the dropship, or in mission ready / over screen etc. So we could let our characters appear with a distinct personality from nervous to eager to crazy to shy etc, and add that flair for everyone to see and enjoy.
  • Add tyranids! More enemy variety in general, we havenā€™t had nothing but a few bosses in the whole year. And personally I think something nonhuman would be more fun than just more humanoids, for a pog horror theme.
  • Add a new biomes. Give us a story excuse of a sudden portal, cave-in or whatever that put us into something completely different from the same metal-ridden hallways.
  • The UI mods let me do simple things like raising the peril number much higher from the bottom of the screen to just below the crosshair instead, and also lets me put vital buffs like True Aim, Thrust etc. right next to the crosshair. They completely transform the game! Please add similar QoL stuff to the base game, it really makes no sense that some buffs that are designed to be tracked are just a tiny little thing way down there in the low left corner of the screen. Nevermind peril being as vital as it is, yet itā€™s so far below crosshair youā€™re forced to look completely away from where your eyes should be to keep track of it. The whole UI design needs some work tbh.
  • More modifiers! Something that not just adds more of everything but actually transforms the game. What if we had massive crusher patrols? What if a map had no health stations? What if we got multiple monstrosities, often at the same time? Maelstrom already has some of this stuff but different, would be fun to get these on regular Aurics too.
  • Have a look at weapon special actions in general. Psyker staves could do some kind of heavy damaging warp melee attack instead, at the cost of extreme peril. What if some ranged weapons instead of a useless poke or bash would let you do a slow kick with great knockdown power?

Thereā€™s way, way more and Iā€™m sure I forgot much more pressing concerns but, this will do for now. :sweat_smile:

Progression:

  1. Crafting needs to be the fail-safe way to get items you want, not multiple-layered RNG onion.
  2. Diamantine / Plasteel ratios are disbalanced (ties to above).
  3. Grims and Tomes need some use, since they are useless on Auric.
  4. XP gets useless past Level 30.

Engine

  1. Sound engine needs some love, silents specials are a thing.
  2. Infinite loading screens, the game loads longer than old Norton Commander and it loads over and over again. Every menu transition = loading screen.
  3. Optimization got better, but still can be made better. My performance on AMD/Ryzen rig changes with every update, sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse.

Cosmetics

  1. FOMO Shop is bad. VT2 had better shop.
  2. Some items are grossly overpriced. A virtual bandana can cost you more than real one.
  3. Freemium cosmetics are lackluster, especially that you cannot earn premium currency.
  4. Weapon Customization would be awesome, without the need of mods.
  5. More adjustments to the cosmetics, f.e. mashing a premium armor with a different texture would be awesome. That one is a nice to have though, this isnā€™t DRG with itā€™s simple models, I get that.

Gameplay

  1. Veteran Markman Focus keystone was supposed to build upon the sharpshooter archetype. One shot-one kill. That is theory. In the game it means it works best with whatever weapon that can spam as much dakka as possible. The movement penalty (losing stacks upon moving) also rob the keystone from much utility on heated games or during clutches.
  2. Executioner Stance is meh, compared to the levels of utility and power provided by other ult evolutions. Give it some toughness and reload on ult, and we shall see.
  3. Smoke grenades are useless. They block line of sight of everybody (except snipers) for few seconds. They need at least a niche use (healing, extinguishing fireā€¦just something).
  4. 20% double nade chance is a mathematical meme material. Merge it with +1 grenade?
  5. Ogrynā€™s Taunt should boost his toughness and stamina (vide IB from VT2). You scream and all enemies turn to youā€¦ and thatā€™s it. Better just charge through them and make them bleed.
  6. Bolter got hit too hard with the nerf bat, especially with the modifier vs infested (count your shots in psykanium necessary to down 1 dogā€¦)
  7. Recon lasguns are useless compared to IAGs
  8. Hellbore Lasguns have poor sights and terrible equip speed. They are not atrocious, but other stuff is simply better.
  9. Brain Burst ist not a blitz, but a chore. I said it during beta, I stand by it today. Target something, yawn, make a coffee, trigger, repeat. I would rather have it work like a charge (vide ogrynā€™s rock), that pops enemies with a flick of the finger.
  10. QoL: give us key shortcuts to shops and locations on Mourningstar.
  11. Chain weapons are too small. This is important matter.

I missed a lot points here, but that is what came first to my mind.

you think only Spidey sense is a quality of life mod on that list, you clearly donā€™t know what that means. QoL means makes the game less tedious. Technically Weapon customization isnā€™t quality of life itā€™s a direct improvement to the game function. I think their reasoning behind removing scoreboard is worse than the reasoning to keep it, since now we have people running through high level content with inferior builds and weapons doing objectively worse than the rest of their team and no metric to understand they are a burden on their team.

I made a list of 51. A number actually have been fixed since then! So thereā€™s that.

I donā€™t know how bad cheat spawns are ight now, seems like less.

Skitarii as 5th class. Everyone wants to play as Skitari. Possible different origin story, IE, They are mostly dead, sent home for implant recycled, taken by Inquisition and nursed back to health instead.

Evis is good but the other chain weapons still feel like they need attention. Not just ā€˜more damageā€™ but more ā€˜fun.ā€™

Iā€™d like more ragdoll when my Ogryn thumps someone. I want to see the pox walkers FLY!

I want the icons in the bottom of the screen that go on and off as my buffs cycle to have a key to their meaning when I hit TAB.

Sire Melk - LAYAWAY PLAN.

Weapon attachment - light - Bayonet - Optics. Possibly allow bayoneted rifle to be used as full melee weapon for asymmetrical bonus. Q to shift from shot to melee, with special being hipfire from melee. Possible dual targeting system with long range and short range sights on weapon, as used on the HK-g-36 used by the German army. Mousewheel to change between them while aiming. One wide red dot, one zoomed in. Could be invisible to 3rd party and explained as projected on retina of user and provided by Hadron. ADDITIONAL this would work on force staves Mouse wheel could move trauma targeting circle to ā€˜long rangeā€™ or ā€˜normal.ā€™

Brain burst should use special attack button to ā€˜snapā€™ to specials/elites. Brain burst sped up slightly, damage scaled up a little on higher levels.

Fire support. No, really, missions with tanks or artiliary supporting us with some ability to call for support, troops at spawn fire to support us.

Dogs, nets, and mutants should NOT pass though a horde like ghosts to jump you. Also they should not be able to knock down an ogyrn shield from the front when the whole horde and itā€™s fire support canā€™t. (not sure on that last being current. Can ogryn shield tank a net now? It was in my old list.)

Let every class do SOMETHING to keep up. Like switch to blitz (even if empty) and run as fast as the fastest zealot.

Menu to take banter weā€™ve already heard, and either remove it from the list after five plays, or move it up the list to hear again if very interesting. Should only appear in the menu after 2-5 plays.

Ammo selector. (IE, Ogryn grenade launcher/shotgun ammo change.) Carry both ammunition, either weapon. Should apply to many weapons, but possibly with a requirement to set a slider for amount of each pre-mission. Not just Ogyrn weapons, ability to change ammo type on appropriate weapon types, shotguns/grenade launchers higher burn for lasers, etc. Some might be either/or, like slugs or shells in a shotgun, or some of each with a slider.

Ogryn super machete/battle axe/BIG WEAPONS. Ogryn ability to use light weight enemies AS weapons/throw toys. ALSO Ogyrn power maul should NOT slow you down when activated.

Hadron Waifu body pillows, Ogyrn scale.

Complete and total remove of beans and bean derivatives from Ogryn dietary supplement packets. The cabin of the Valkyrie we use for insertion isnā€™t that big.

Lots of good ones here! Wanted to add some ideas to some of those:

  • Grims and Scrippies should add a percentage of plasteel & diamantine depending on how many you got. The current low amount of money isnā€™t enough for the risks nor useful in endgame anyway, and xp ofc is entirely useless.
  • Marksmanā€™s Focus should work similarly to Disrupt Destiny: Weakspots build stacks but they decay over a short time. No movement penalty should be a given, unless they rework Exec Stance to have the old Camo built in. Between having to work around bullet-blocking teammates and the enemies Darktide simply isnā€™t designed in a way that standing still would ever be valid, and the subtalent that lets you crouch to build them up while moving doesnā€™t help at all for just making all of the above worse.
  • Exec Stance should absolutely either not get canceled when you switch to melee, or get Camo built in. Itā€™s completely counter to the gameā€™s design, where you are forced to constantly switch to melee due to enemies spawning all around and behind you at all times. The ult is already by far the worst of the 3 and runs out in literal seconds anyway. They should also add the instant reload subtalent to it, or work out an alternative like load X% bullets back into your mag for each specialist+ kill during it. Also ogryns ARE elites.
  • Pinning Fire is too weak. It should either be buffed to ~+35-40% power, or transferred over to weapons where it actually makes sense. Like instead of the Shredder which isnā€™t a stagger gun, the BAG weapons are yet have nothing like it.
  • I like the double nade talent myself but even if the chance wasnā€™t too small, RNG is bad design for such a precious and rare resource. Something similar to True Aim would be better, like after X nades, 10 elite kills, or 5s after using your ult etc. you would throw 2. Something to let people track the buff and reliably plan around it.
  • BB isnā€™t useless, but itā€™s far, far too slow for the current meta and sees less than a fraction of as much use as Smite or Assail even if picked. Its primary cast speed should be buffed by 25-33% and it would likely still not be enough. Cerebral Lacerations should be brought back as a built-in passive for it, where every target hit by BB would take +25% dmg from all sources for 10s.
  • Expand the area for tagging resources. Having to tag nades or deployables etc. 5x because they require headshot accuracy for no reason got really old a year ago. xD
  • Make all marks of all weapons viable
  • Please finally fix the issue with 8/10 of Traumaā€™s blessings either being useless or literally not working at all. This problem has existed for over a year nowā€¦
  • Add more blessings for Surge & Purge and buff the ones that arenā€™t Warp Flurry & Warp Nexus to give them at least some build variation
  • Give us a way to obtain low tier blessings in endgame that doesnā€™t rely on the hourly store RNG. Iā€™ve hunted for Man-Stopper for a shotgun forever and still donā€™t have it, Iā€™d played the game for 10 months before getting Flechette.

These suggestions are absolutely on point so far! Here are a few of my own, all of which are from a Zealot main and Psyker secondary POV:

  • I would like to see the base armor penetration values for the Agripinaa Shotgunā€™s slugshot special attack increased slightly, particularly versus Carapace. I think 3 headshots/weak point hits with the slugshot on a Crusher should be standard. In other words, 1st shot staggers and 2nd shot knocks down much as it does now, but the 3rd headshot kills the Crusher outright instead of the 4-5+ shots it currently takes depending on your blessings.

  • Blades of Faith needs something extra. What that ā€˜extraā€™ could be is open to discussion of course, but it lacks in utility, visibility and/or overall damage output compared to the other two ā€˜nade options. Sure, it is supposed to be the single target damage choice out of the three blitzes, but even then in that capacity the blades are somewhat mediocre (good vs. most specialists/unarmoured, average vs. Flak but useless vs. carapace). Some of my own ideas to spruce them up a little: would love to see the blades catch fire if they pass through either an alliesā€™ immo grenades or fire from a barrel/flamer, applying a stack of burning to anything the blades pass through and hit. Another option could be some sort of reward for landing weak spot kills with them, whether it be a small boost to ranged or melee damage, or a minor and temporary toughness damage reduction or even weapon swap speed for say 3 seconds. I think the one QoL change that is definitely needed with BoF though is a more prominent trail when theyā€™re thrown, as sometimes when youā€™re in the thick of it on an Auric Maelstrom, it can be hard to even see where theyā€™re going or even if your character actually threw one in the first place if thereā€™s any lag and a lot of visual clutter on screen.

  • Would like to see a brief stagger on any enemies within close proximity of any player triggering a stealth ability (plus an accompanying sound cue audible to team mates), to encourage use of said stealth as quickly as possible in an aggressive capacity, and to help alert and give allies that extra split second to react to the possibility of any threat redirection coming their way.

  • Retributorā€™s Stance keystone modifier could use a buff to at least 3% or even 4% toughness per spent stack of momentum instead of the current 2% per stack for it to be more viable as a pick.

  • Would love to see a 3rd keystone modifier below both Retributorā€™s Stance and Inebriateā€™s Poise that doubles the speed at which stacks of Momentum are gained (e.g. 2-4-6 stacks, instead of 1-2-3. Maximum stacks still remain at 20.) This isnā€™t a gripe but I thought Iā€™d list it anyway as a pipedream.

  • Bit of a wild card this one: make the ā€˜Melee attacks cannot stun youā€™ part of Thy Wrath Be Swift baseline for the Zealot, (in other words, a part of The Emperorā€™s Will basic aura. Zealot is the only primarily frontline class in the game, therefore having melee stun immunity by default makes sense. To differentiate, Ogryn is the only class that has both melee and ranged stun immunity. Then, swap the melee stun immunity on TWBS for say, a 25% increase to reload speed after sprint sliding that lasts 3 seconds, which IMHO thematically fits in a lot more with a speedy, angry zealot.

  • Brain burst needs to have either a faster charge rate, or more baseline damage. Not going to expand on this too much as others have already made good enough points on the issues surrounding BB.

  • I personally think Assail needs a minor slowdown to its replenishment, but this one isnā€™t particularly high up on my list.

  • Increase Smiteā€™s baseline DoT by a small amount, as it is still very lackluster. By how much is open to discussion and like with anything and everything implemented in this game - requires thorough testing before release.

  • More effort put into cosmetics, specifically: reduce the number of re-skins upon re-skins with a slightly different shade of grey and implement more quality control to spare us from some of the awful clipping on certain skins, some of which are in the cash shop no less (check out the back of that Disciple of Imperius Faith Hoodā€¦yikes.)

  • Basic weapon customization for sights, the option to have our weapons visible on our backs/waists in the Mourningstar and a coherent crafting system that isnā€™t essentially a disrespectful back and forth between Bruntā€™s casino and Hadronā€™s Roulette.

Iā€™m sure Iā€™ve forgotten something but thatā€™ll do for now.

crafting compromise #1 i would just like to:

  • exchange modifiers, take the 80% from Penetration to Damage and the 70% from Damage to Penetration for example.
  • have no locks
  • scrap weapons for ressources option instead of dockets

other:

  • solo mode with my own chars!!!
  • implement scoreboard
  • implement true level
  • implement your Bio Tab
  • let us change charakter names and their voice
  • solo mode !!!

Didnt read any comments to prevent any bias on my list:

  • Fix crafting, the player needs to be given more agency over what stuff they get and what they do with their stuff. Less RNG in general would be very nice.
  • Give us at least a bare bones weapon customization where we can swap out scopes
  • Meaningful player progression past lvl 30
  • Solo play
  • The option to choose what mission we wanna play at any point in any configuration
  • More affordable skins
  • Remove store FOMO
  • Remove MTX or give us an option to earn Aquilas, so MTX is even justified being in the game at all
  • Less skin recolors and more actually NEW skins instead of recycling old ones
  • Higher quality skins. As it stands now, everytime a new cosmetic drops we have the same issues with clipping, hair removal and not connected textures all over again. Also keep closer to the source material. The Krieg skins still look atrocious and are still missing the tubes
  • More QA. Each patch theres either patch notes being wrong or missing althogether. This is in addition to wrong texts ingame where either the localization string is missing or wrong.
  • Redesign of enemies. Bulwarks and Ragers are fundametally flawed in their concept and need a redesign
  • More variantion of enemies. Theres concept art by Miguel Iglasias who did the concept art for the enemies we currently already have that is still unused. Such as Bulwark or crusher variations with different armored parts for instance
  • Class reworks. Some classes suffer from serious problems and some abilities should not be in the game. Smite and Smoke Grenade are the main offenders at this. One trivializes the game by perma stunning everything and is conflicting with the core game design, the other just does nothing. Also Thy Wrath be Swift is 100% pick on Zealot, more on that below
  • Remove ranged stuns and pushback. If youve ever played on higher ping and faced a group of gunners, shotgunners or shooters you will know what I mean. Being unable to engage an enemie in melee because hes able to keep you out of melee by just shooting you should not be possible. So unless youre running TWBS youre stuck in the eternal loop of enemies pushing you back and being rubberbanded, leaving you at the mercy of the enemies ruuning out of ammo or your teammates saving you.
  • Remove ledgeing. Theres nothing more frustrating than someone popping a barrel and you getting yeeted off inot the void being instakilled. The same should also apply to bosses. Sure its funny to push them off the ledge but its also boring gameplay wise
  • Remove the Daemonhost or vastly change her. Its a ā€œwitch typeā€ enemy pretty much everyone knows from back in the day L4D(2). The fundamental design of that enemy being inst gonna kill the player who disturbed it or being killed before it can achieve that, if you cant avoid it that is. The DH is contradicting both of those ideas in having too much health, unable to be ā€œcrownedā€ by any single player and on top of that only leaving after having killed 2 players, so its punishing another player for the mistake someone else made.
  • Bosses should drop loot like in VT, either drop a chache of plasteel/diamantine or have them spawn in the little room in bust out from in the wall. ALternatively rework loot to not be pickup and ust give us fixed loot for mission completion like in VT
  • More Dev insights/communication. What are they currently working on, how long will that take to ship live? Stuff like that. Dev Blogs are all over in the industry so im sure FS can work out a format that fits them
  • An option to provide direct feedback while ingame. That way the feedback engagement would increase dramatically as people wouldnt have to go somehwere else to ā€œventā€ their feelings.
  • Make the Mourningstar more interesting. Have zones where you can properly interact with players. As it stands now its just a boring hub that is way too large
  • Make the Mourningstar more traversable. Give us back the Hotkeys to jump to differnt vendors like we could in VT2
  • More earnable cosmetics
  • Less weapon marks and more weapons isntead. I dont need 3 different recon lasguns. Optionally this would pair with a weapon customization where we only have one mark of a weapon type and we can modify them in how they perform to get our own marks. That way we need only one mark of everything and can get more weapons isntead
  • Inventory QoL. Grouping sorting and favorising weapons is the bare minimum here
  • Fixing the sound issues
  • Fixing the performance issues
  • Fixing desync
  • Fixing server-client issues. That being either the server deciding to rollback your dodge, resulting you getting netting or hit, even tho you dodged on your end or the server disagreeing where your crosshair should be. The latter being most prevalent on shotguns. But there are many more that I wont list here
  • Implementing an ingame glossary. We have so many keywords and no easy way to look up what they do. Next to melk is an empty post with scriptures that would be the perfect location to implement a scribe that would tell you what certain stuff does. What is rending? What is brittleness? What is the difference between brittleness and rending? What armor types are present on a certain body part of an enemy? Stuff like that
  • More shared stuff between characters. Why cant my zealot use the knife that my vet has? Why does Psyker not have access to shotguns? Why are Curios not generally shared when they hold no class specific buffs
  • 100% bars on gear. Not necessarily an increase of base rating, but just being able to get 100% of any stat
  • Fixing hyper-density issues. Bulwarks merging into another leaving you unable to hit either of them. Enemies walking through you bcs they aggroed to someone behind you, leaving you stuck in place because YOU on the other hand cant ignore hit mass. Also Netters shooting through 6 Bulwarks and Crushers netting you bcs you could neither see nor hear her.
  • The option to change voice/personality and names on the surgeon. Theres no reason for to be unable to do this as we could literally do this in real life as well, so a surgeon in the 41st millenium should be able to do it just fine
  • More story
  • More in-character coherency, so it actually feels like our characters are building some kind of kinship with the warband and not just random banter between what feels like generic npc1 and npc2
  • Make Melk matter. You go through teh trouble of completing weekly only for melk to have maybe 1 weapon per week being actually decent

I could still write more but listing all this stuff has already tired me out, knowing that next to nothing I say will matter anyways, so Im gonna leave it at that

For the love of the Emperor, we should be able to do this. Iā€™m sick of missing out on so many cool voicelines because I canā€™t change my characterā€™s voice. Itā€™d also be cool to have the ability change my name.

More in-depth character customisation. Give me blue hair and black lipstick. I need to tear up the Hive and the Heretics should know me as Daisy when I do it.
