KNOWN ISSUE: Login Service Outage, Resulting in Backend Error on Launch

been following the issue in twitter (yes, I was motivated enough to dust off my account) nothing has been posted for 1h+ so we may be out for a bit. Seems like a lack of testing on their end to be honest. Hopefully is fixed soon.

The game is down on July 4th and while hi shock gauntlet is in rotation. This confirms that not only is Fatshark a gatekeeping master but also the most anti-player developer in the market.

I’ve been gating a backend error for trying yo get in to the game on the start screen.

This is literally one of the worst times ever to have the servers down for 7+ hours…

Not only is it down during a steam summer sale, where new players might be buying the game to find they cant log in, and just refund the game; but its also down during one of the largest holidays in the country that most of the player base is located in.

Complete fail…

It’s a known issue. They put out a tweet about it a couple hours ago. No updates since then unfortunately, its been going on for at least 5-6 hours.

So Crashes give me Headaches all the time and now i cant login either… Jeez

No specific Number on Error, just wht the Title says

There is a big thread for this issue. I’ll post the link but from what I understand FS twitter page says they are ā€œaware of the issue and working on it.ā€

New player here from steam sale, took 15 minutes to get in, barely completed the tutorial before I got disconnected with the same error. You are correct, I was mighty close to refunding.

Not even from US though, just first day off in a long time and was hyped to play :frowning:

Same issue

smells like the same resolution method when patch 10 (or 9) broke the game for amd users. it took 3 days to resolve.

amd had to be called to tell fs that its bad game code, not fault of amd hardware or drivers…

why noone is testing the game before making production release? has there been no lessons learned from previous releases?!? its rly not hard to setup pre-production environment and release there and then run QA checks

I just managed to get in for the first time in 5 hours. Maybe its starting to be corrected? Watch as it disconnects on me now

Same. I played after the patch for a couple hours and logged off never to be able to return. FS should have just rolled back the patch but wth do we know?

The post order history is not quite right, due to some chronological wonkiness. I also had to change the timestamp on my original post. For transparency, I posted the original post about 15 minutes ago. I’m not trying to deceive anybody. :slight_smile:
