A additional note that I didn’t see in this log that might be helpful:
This error can happen on full screen launch title screen (the one where you press a button and the message at the bottom says “Checking Inquisitorial Authentication”. The same error pops up and you cannot get past the title screen.
You cannot exit the game except with Alt+f4. A nice to have would be an exit button on the title screen so we can escape the infinite loop gracefully and accessibly.

Having exactly the same issue.
100% crash rate. Havn’t been able to play at all.
Opens with start_protected_game, but then cannot log in.

Yeah I spent a couple hours troubleshooting and its a dev issue.
The launcher is straight spaghetti code and crashes insta.
There is a launcher exe in the binaries folder that will get you to the start screen. But that locks you up at a known authentication issue that Fatshark are having. So we just gonna have to wait for the devs to get it together unfortunately

Hey so the game is officially out now and this is still a problem. its the same issue we had with Vermintide and we had to use that ‘launcher_workaround’ beta to bypass your spaghetti code. Can we get one of those again?
