I can second this. Seems to be whenever trying to connect to The Mourning Star. So it happens when logging in, after finishing a mission, and when existing the Psykhanium.
If you spam logging in you can get in eventually, but it can take anywhere from 5+ to 20+ attempts, if not more.
Restarted steam and rebooted PC with no change. Pinged Google DNS server 8.8.8.8 and wasn’t dropping any packets and had about a 9ms latency with only 1-3 ms jitter, so internet connection is fine too.
Which countries are you playing from, and could you share the names of your ISPs please?

I have municipal internet, its called Loveland Pulse. I’m not sure which network backbone they use or if they have their own

Here’s a minute clip of the nightmare. Eventually I just gave up and quit the game since it was clear the servers weren’t letting me in.

I never used to get this error, after the hotfix I do. It’s been very frequent. I sometimes give up then try again after an hour or so. But it happens throughout the entire day.
Launched the game, tried 3 times to get to Hub, received Error 3001 each time, then quit:

No mods.
I can confirm this must be an issue with US ISPs, US routing or the US servers.
I have never had the 3001 Error and am connecting from EU to the EU servers.

Addendum: Some people in the Discord just had this issue. When pressed on the matter, one of them tried using a VPN and that way they were able to connect.
Having this issue to, everyone in my chat says US and sometimes west coast.

I’ve had almost constant 2001, 2004, and 2014 errors since day 1. It’s at the point where if I can’t enter the hub after three tries, I just give up trying to play for the day. Now it’s error 3001 every time.
The trend continues in this thread, too. Mostly West Coast players, although there is also one Frenchie mentioning 3001 difficulties.
After selecting my character, I go to the next loading screen, then ‘failed to load game server error 3001’
Since the 1.050 patch, there have been frequent link errors
