UPDATE!!! I fixed it

Steps on how to fix the issue.

  1. Install GeForce Game Ready Driver 531.29
  2. Run the installation file.
    a. Press ‘OK’ to accept the installation path.
    b. Press ‘Next’ after the following loading time.
    c. Choose “Advanced” installation options.
    d. Select the “clean” installation and run the installation.
    e. After the installation is done, reboot your PC.
  3. Go to Darktide in your Steam library.
    a. Right klick on Darktide.
    b. Go to ‘Local files’ and left klick on “Verify integrity of game files…”
  4. Run Darktide.

Something is now broken after i installed the Nvidia 531.41 driver… It crashes on boot after i’ve pressed the “start” button from the small game window.

What i’ve tried so far:

  1. Removed all the mods, didn’t help.
  2. Tried to use the Beta-Experimental build, didn’t help.
    2.1. Rebooted PC, didn’t help.
  3. Tried to lower the worker threads incrementally from 5 down to 1, didn’t help.
  4. Complete clean re-install of the Nvidia 531.41 driver, didn’t help.
    4.1. Rebooted PC, didn’t help.
  5. Downloaded Nvidia driver 531.29 from Nvidias webpage with a clean installation, didn’t help.
    5.1. Rebooted PC, didn’t help.

I also looked into the DT launcher.log files and saw a repeating Error message.
